I get this message EVERY WEEKDAY from this number telling me they are trying to collect a debt and I KNOW we have stellar credit so I don't answer the phone.  They leave a message everyday about how they are calling about a debt.  I think it's a scam and want to report them.

This is nothing short of harassment. Those with bad credit give false names and numbers all the time. Then when the debt goes bad, the idiots who gave the credit turn these false names over to debt collectors who will do anything to collect those debts. As a result, innocent people like you and I get harassed to death. What's particularly frustrating is that these companies call you with a robo-call and force you to call them to stop the harassment. they called me and asked for my social and my address before they would tell me where i owed a supposed 'debt'.

this is the outfit that has been calling at all hours of the day and if you want to get your number removed from their calling list, do as i have done, feil a complant with the BBB in their home state of Ohio, Thank you very much, may you have color in your pan and a smile in your heart

One thing it seems we have in common is they ask for someone else.  I get calls from this number always asking for someone else.  Told them truthfully...no one here by that name. Asked them to remove my number from their list... they don't show that my number is in their database.  So I am thinking it is a scam... or a machine is calling random numbers to sell to telemarketing firms

I've been getting calls daily (sometimes several in 1 day), including weekends & before/after legal hour from 800-258-8074. I never answer calls from unknown sources, & these people never leave a message. If it's SO important to call daily, then why not leave a msg?
Does anyone think that since they are calling so many of us with "made up" names, & asking for our info, that perhaps they are "cold calling" random #'s, getting info from the unsuspecting, then running the info through a credit data base? Once they get a positive hit for debt, they could be selling the account to a real collection agency? Just a thought. It seems too odd that they have so many "wrong numbers." I'm going to try using the "block caller" feature on my cell, though I'm sure they use several numbers. Will see what happens!

Been getting phone calls from this number for the past week and I've not even answered the number as shown on my Caller ID. Whomever this folks are, they are about to get a gripe from the Attorney Generals office if they keep calling my phone.

These are SCAMMERS trolling for your financial information. They make up names of people and ask for verification and financial data. DO NOT FALL FOR IT.

They keep calling for my son, who has not lived with us in over 3 years. I keep telling them that, and that I have not seen him since he moved out (after a horrible disagreement) in over 3 years. Don't have any forwarding info for him since he has cut us from his life. I have asked them numerous times not to call, as he will never get the information. Next step will be contacting our attorney.

This is Phishing at its best. Don't give them anything.

I kept getting calls from this number and finally decided it as a scam - i blocked them from calling. Perhaps if you keep getting these calls file a complaint with the FTC.

they have called me at EXACTLY 9:00 a.m. for the last month, asking for a person who is not me, and whom i do not know.  i always pressed "2" (as NOT being the person they named).  today i pressed "1" (as being the person they named) in hopes of telling them i DO NOT KNOW THIS PERSON AT ALL.  nothing happened.  i called the same number back, and was on hold with repeated messages of "Allied Interstate is a debt collection agency.  All calls may be recorded."  DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO MAKE THESE CALLS STOP?   I don't know the person they are looking for and do NOT owe them money!  

how do you block someone from calling?

Keep getting calls asking if I am my x-wife over 30 years ago. Recorded call, says press 2 if not the person they are asking for, did that and was referred to a rep and put on hold. It is allied interstate collection agency.

Someone call my home and leave a messenger saying that they are trying to collect a debit front me?, they said my first Name. I don't own nothing to anyone and I don't even have any debits. I call back I spoke to Casandra Johns, after I ask to who she was calling she said to Oscar Zambrano, I explain to her that this person was a guest on my home several years ago and I didn't know him, or whereabouts, I polite requested to take out my phone number out of her system, she Hung up on me!!

Don't leave a message, I used option #2 and spoke with a person within 10 minutes on a Friday afternoon. Gave the number they called me from (the robo one this web site is about) and my cell telephone number (which no one calls direct anyway, use Google Voice and forward!) and she said they were looking for Keri or Terri but (obviously not a man) definitely NOT ME. She removed the number from the robo caller and said to give it '24 hours' to take.

I received a call from this number, I said hello, got no answer then got disconnected. Have no idea who it was. VERY VERY VERY FRIGGIN' ANNOYING. Maybe it's the NSA registering my number so they can access my conversations. What a waste of time and taxpayer's money!!!
