I received my first call today.  When I called it, it said it was the CG (Coast Guard) hotline.  The Coast Guard discontinued this hotline in 2006 due to budget cuts.  An article I just read says  I think they are guilty of fraud

Just keep calling and  they wont stop or leave a message.  My mother has answered the past couple times and they won't leave a message with her or tell her anything.  I'm thinking scam.

This number has been calling twice a day.  I am on the "Do Not Call list" , somehow they have wormed their way around it.  They never leave a message.

This company needs to stop. NOW.

I tried returning the call and got a fast busy.

Recording - you have reached "the CD offering????" (unsure of name), please leave your message at the tone.

CG Hotline when I called the number back.

Just act real nice when they ask for so and so and say one moment please. Then wait a little while and go back and say just one moment they're coming and keep these a holes tied up on the line as long as they are willing to hold. Do this to them every time they call and they cross you off their list real quick.

I received a call from this number today and called them back and left a message and told them
to take my number off their list.  I have a new
number which belonged to a M. Turner before and
he apparently owes alot of bills.  It seems the
do not call. gov doesn't help one darn bit either.
I advise people to see if they are on intelius
search.  If you are, there's a number to fax them
some info and have them take you off.  Check it

The second call in two nights..asking for my wife..and they refuse to
advise the reason for the call.   We are on the DO NOT Call Hotline..and
have no bills outstanding and have excellent credit..

These guys call me 2-3 times a day, the few times I've picked up, no one was at the other end.  Supposedly it's TCG, so I went to their website, went to Contact Us, and submit bogus info, multiple times.  We'll see how they like it.

Just FINALLY spoke to them after being hung up on and TONS of calls without anyone on them.

It's an Obama supporting company and I let them know I'm supporting McCain.  TOTALLY.  I have this feeling it's trying to get bogus votes for Him and they' won't get it from ME.

I get a call 2 or 3 times a day from 800-260-9125. It's always a missed call. Nobody ever leaves a message. They are UNREACHABLE,

They just called again and FINALLY said something.  It was recording asking for our support for Democrat Travis Childers.

Definitely not voting for him!

may have started after I called Chase CC to increase the credit limit, or the Chiefs of Police fund raisers keep calling cause I donated once a long time ago

By the way, there's a Clinton Group in New York that happens to be a hedge fund. I wonder if they know that there's a company using their name to make junk calls?

As you can see from their website, they are telemarketers. That's why these comments have various call reasons associated with them (i.e. Support for Obama, raise money, etc...)

I guess when the say on their website that they're professional, courteous, effective and sophisticated, they are lying.
