I called the celll number posted above....it works for him...told him to have hiis company never call me again, as to i am not the person they want..he was po'd becasue of the hour i called him, which was 10 moinutes after they called me....too bad so sad,,think ill call agauin if he calls again/

Here you guys go. Have at them. Please file complaints if you think that they obtained your information illegally. Most skip tracing is illegal regardless of what they tell you. I worked for a collection agency. I know better.

They called, I gave them all information regarding my recent bankruptcy, they than called my MOTHER (who lives in another state, and I have not lived with for 21 years)
I have asked them to NOT call again, and will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

This number calls me twice a day when I finally called back they kept hanging up on me and when I didnt stop they finally told me they were a collection agency but I was not the person they were looking for.  VERY RUDE THIS SHOULD NOT BE LEGAL.  THEY HAVE MY NUMBER BY ACCIDENT.

I keep getting similar calls.  I know my credit is excellent, and have no outstanding bills.  So why do they insist in repeat calls???

Call is for former owner (more than 3 years ago) of my home that never had a number even similar to mine.  This has happened a number of times.  When I call back the number provided, they will not identify themselves.

Got the call from these a~holes, 800-268-9806 .... of course it's not my name their recorded voice is asking for. How can we screw them? Ha! We have to start fighting back on all the Crap. I do not feel they deserve politeness.

Supposedly you can just tell them to not call you and legally they can't but truth be told most will not stop calling until you've sent them something in writing preferrably certified mail.  Then if it continues you report them.

They wanted to know the phone number of a relative that used to live here and is now using a cell phone instead of a land line.  I told them that he skipped town and owes us money and they said he probably owes everyone money.  This relative has a credit score over 800 and is generous so I figure they're selling contact information to charities.

After being annoyed for several months, I finally called them back.  A person immediately answered and asked for a reference number.  There was no reference number so I gave them my number.

The person they were looking for was the previous residence in this house over 9 years ago.  I'm still not sure how they attached my phone number to the previous residence unless that's a part of this skip tracing they spoke of.

They politely said they would remove my number from their call list since it was a wrong number.

I have been receiving messages from them number as well only they are calling for my LATE ex-husband.  He was killed about a year and a half ago and I don't appreciate my children getting messages asking for their dead father.

Visiting my folks who just got a call from these people. They said in the message left on their answering machine that it was in reference to someone whose name is not familiar to anyone here. Parents have lived in this house for 40 years and have had this phone number for over 30 so I don't know how this number and/or address could be relevant to this stranger's name.

They called with a recorded message asking if I was a certain person and that by listening to the call I was verifying I was that person and gave a call back number. They said they were debt collectors? Any call I get on my phone, which I pay for I can and will listen to the message no matter who they ask for! They should not call again!

I got a similar call as Tiger, they was asking for Scott Willis.

I have been getting  calls for two years for someone who had my number before me. These calls are all collections agencies. How can I get them to stop?!!

I dunno what company or person is calling me from this number. Not knowing who it is makes me very suspicious.
