i hope you dont mind my saying that these people are debt collectors and will call you for ever even if you dont owe them they need innocent folks like im sure you likely are to lobby your local  MP  and have these people made to stop telephone soliceting and take any of there concerns to the courts .  the C.R,T,C. has alloud the telephone companies to give these trouble makers the rights to hassle you people need to shut this foolishness off for good

They call me asking for a person who doesn't even have this number. I told her there was no one by this name at this number. The lady then very very rudely said "I didn't ask for a number, I asked for a name." If you're going to falsely accuse me of being someone, you shouldn't be so rude. I am very frustrated.

SCAM SCAM SCAM I got a call from this number 800-270-9685.  Someone with an accent left a vague generic message about a debt with no legit info.  Its an old SCAM.  Don't answer, let the machine get it or just hang up.  Don't spend anytime talking with them.  Don't refer them to your home number!!!!!!   I am debt free by the way.    SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM

By the way, if you register vote, don't list a phone number ever.  It all goes into the public records and can be accessed by anyone.  The DNC list is not needed.

some kind of collections scam

The phone number I have is my new number, I got it less than a year ago. I never gave out my number, only to close family members.  The calls from the number 800-270-9685 started. They would call often. I answered once and they asked for someone I didn't know.  I asked them to take me off their list and not to call anymore.  They stopped for awhile and now today they called again.  I didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message.

Got a call listed as PBC Collections on my home phone, Monday at 11:45 AM. The recording said, "Please hold for an important message". I hung up. No call back. There is no reason for anyone to be calling me.
