it is Tyco systems. It is a large commercial security company, This company bought several companies that do both commercial and residential home security systems. This company recently took over ADT commercial accounts.

This is absolutely a HARASSMENT phone call. They will not take my number off of their list.

They are not calling you to solicit anything.  If you are not part of a management chain that is responsible to respond to alarm events, then more than likely your number was mistakenly given to them by a company that does use them.   The person that is calling you does not have the authority to take your number off of the "list" because it was given to them directly from one of their clients as a contact number for alarm events.  If you want to get the number removed from their calling list the easiest way is going to be for you to find out the company they are calling for and then contact that company and ask for who ever handles their security systems and ask that person to correct the error.

Tyco Security.  These are not solicitations.

I did not understand this call. They were calling to inform me of an "alarm event" for the museum I work at and told me there was a problem within my "zone". I had no idea what it meant and I am just the receptionist on the weekends here. The lady on the line asked me for my name when I told her I wasn't sure what she was talking about and then she hung up when I asked her If I should transfer her. The call made no sense and felt sketchy to me.

Sierra, it's not a scam.

Someone at you company put you on the call list for the alarm system - they're also supposed to give you a confirmation code to prove you are you, and another code that signals you're being held up/in danger and someone is listening. If your company added you as a contact without telling you, you need to talk to whoever handles security.

Also, no one ever remembers to remove you from the call list after you leave a job - I still get calls from a company I left 4 years ago.

Tyco calling becausr our alarm was going off.

No idea why they called me. No one put me on a lest to call for any type of emergency. Besides if it was true and an emergency wouldn’t they have left a message? Bizarre.

Why wouldn't the individual calling them notify the company or someone else on that list that one of the numbers maybe wrong.

I got this call twice at 7am EST! Asking for Terrence. My phone is an unlisted business cell phone.

I wish these people would not call a disabled individual's personal phone line at home! It's unwanted and I never signed up for any of it! blocked.

Received call from Brendan or Brandon citing an overdue invoice, wanting to talk to accounts payable.  I have no connection or relationship with them and they have no reason to call me, either they have a wrong number or they are spammers.

These guys called me on my new phone although I have the same number of my old phone. I don't own a business or anything. I didn't pick up, but they called me three times yesterday. All within about 10 minutes between each other. Perhaps this is a Verizon issue, because I never got a call before from them with my old phone.
