Got a call from this number but it left no message.  I called it back and the answer message says "thank you for calling the office, our business hours. ....."  Sounds suspicious that they don't care to let you know who they are so if you get a call chances are they are some sleezy debt collectors.  Don't answer.

This is a U Mass Medical Debt Collection Service which calls many times and leaves no message. Attorney says I call collect 1500 dollars for each harassment call they make.  If these people harass you call your attorney now and make them pay for your distress.

Left a message at around 9:40AM on March 09, 2018 asking me to call the number back. It, however, stated that the call from Cambridge Health Alliance Finance department. Called back the number 800-307-6757 after the office hours as the message was taken late evening arounrd 9:30PM. The automatic voice message did not say what the business or organization is but asked to be called during their business hours from 8:30Am to 5pm M-Friday. The question is that do they charge and call the patients seen by medical professionals at the Cambridge Hospital covered by the medical insurance, MassHealth (Medicaid) or Masshealth Plus? If so what did they charge for the routine check ups that are completely covered by Affordable Care Act (ACA)? Why do they call directly to a patient rather than the insurance company such as Neighborhood Health Plan or Bluecross and Blueshield if there is any medical bill for a patient whose income is too low to afford to pay for own health insurance coverage and who has ended up being under the government plan. Will call them back to find out what is about, but the message is posted just in case of that someone who is under the most vulnerable situation both financially and physically gets this kind of call as I have been.
