This is a scam. It is an automated recording that tells you that you owe money on a specific account. The account that the call was regarding was my father’s US Bank account. The caller somehow had the last 4 digits of my father’s credit card and he may have somehow obtained even more account information. The caller, who stated that he represented US Bank, was demanding several thousand dollars to pay off the outstanding balance. If left unpaid there was going to be immediate late fees totaling near a thousand dollars and there would be an increase in the  interest rate.
Fortunately, we didn’t give them any info or money. After the call I called USBank fraud protection and they said that the phone number is linked to a scam that has been around for a while and has defrauded many people, mainly the elderly.

Same caller is ringing night and day, but my question still remains….  How did they obtain our banking information?

These people call me every day at the same time. When I answered, they refused to give me any info beyond they were a card services co. They wanted info from me, I told them they were scammers, hung up, and blocked them. Even though they are blocked, I still get a notification that they called.

Let me guess..... Indian accent?

Scammers, they want your personal info, they probably swiped your last 4 digits of your account from some unsecure website you bought something from. They ask for the entire card number and social. They need to be found and dealt with

Keep getting calls.  I answer but never speak they always hang up.  I call back and has US Bank message.  I called US Bank # on my card and they said that number is not associated with US Bank in their records.  They said to block number and they will report it.
