Just so you all are aware it's HFC Beneficial Customer Service. They run a predictive dialer system with call center software. If you do decide to answer the phone do what I do. Come on to them. say things like "mmmm you have a sexy voice" "what are you wearing?" "I'm touching myself" etc etc this will guarantee a hang up everytime and you will be feeling great!

This is most diffenantly HSBC,  I have a loan with them, and even when the payment is scheduled, they keep calling.

When they call all weekend, I do not understand how or why.  I tried to call back one time when I missed the call on a Sunday, and a recording came on and stated that it was after business hours and that I needed to call back during operating hours.  So, if they are closed why are they calling me?

The level of harrassing, no message calling has gotten to a point that I began logging down the date and time they call.  I recently wrote a letter to the Better Business Bureau providing all the info.  Hopefully this will make a difference.  Everyone should do the same, go to the BBB.org and search for business using the 1-800 that appears on your caller ID.  A list of HSBC and its subsidiaries will pop up.  I picked the mother company HSBC and filed my complaint.  If enough of us do it maybe this practice will cease.

Keeps on calling me at home and office.

Folks, I have a loan w/ these goofballs, & I have told them repeatedly to call my Debt Resolution Atty, & they STILL call me multiple times dqaily!!  I USED TO WRITE DOWN EVERY TIME THEY CALLED(OVER 300 IN 2 MONTHS), but decided it wasn't worth the effort. I now just let thge calls go to my v/m, if they get that far. NEVER LEAVE A MESSAGE!!  GRRRRR!! If I didn't have caller ID, I would never pick up the damn phone for anyone!!  that's how bad these calls are!!

Got a call to this business asking for an employee who is a frequent target of collections scams. As soon as they ask for him by his formal name, I hang up. Arguing with them and informing them that management does not allow employees to take call from collectors is pointless.

So I simply end the call before it can become a problem. Since I implemented this policy, there have a been a lot fewer callbacks. Apparently telling them not to call has no effect, but hanging up on them without any conversation puts a stop to future calls. Go figure.
