Just called my cell and when i said hello twice noone said nothing so i just hung up the phone shall be blocking the number from my phone there is no sense in no one doing this to you i dont care who they are

I had a call from this number and they said I had a past due bill. I gave them my SS number. They couldn’t find my bill. Is this a scam.

Just want to know if this company is legal.

That's what I got. The payment was already in the mail two days ago and it wasn't overdue either. I was rude and they deserved it!

I work for Tenet. Tenet handles medical bills from hospitals allover the US. Especially in MI, FL, TX, CA, TN, AL, but there may be some others but primarily in those states we work with a lot of hospitals. No, we're not a collection agency, we're just calling to know if you can pay or if you need financial assistance. You don't even have to pay over the phone and if you're in doubt, you can reach out to the hospital and they'll just connect you to us.

You classified yourself as a "Debt Collector" under call type yet you claim that you are not a "collection agency"? Hmm. Yet you are not the original creditor which would be the hospital so that would mean that qualify for the definition of a third party debt collector. Sounds like you are telling lies to get people to believe you. Sounds like you are stealing scum, most likely from some third world garbage dump of a country. I guess your boss bought you a first class translation program?

I don’t understand why they keep calling about my daughter… we’ve been paying her bill with abrazo… if we are paying why is it in collections???

Why didn't you post the name of the collection company?
