I just got a text from "654654".   Says to enter in the "PIN" on the web for a change 2 win &50,000 Play Predicto game 4BIG prizes and giveaways.  Then it goes on to say its $9.99/m to cancel txt stop.  T&C: predicto.com.

I just got three of these messages, and Im afraid to do anything. I have to check with my phone service, and may change my number just in case. The only way to deal with places like this is to file complaints with the following: Better Business Bureau, Federal Trade Commision, and most importantly, the Attorney General's Office/Dept. of Consumer Affairs.

We are being harassed day and night. I appears to us that Its either they are 1) trying to deliberately run up our phone bill. or 2 Tricking people into signing up for a "Cell phone trcaking co" What ever is causing this proplem are crooks. I belive its some one from Sams Club of Wallmart  beacuse they are the Catalyst behind the adds.

This is how it happened to me, I am on a job search website, and then to go on to the net page for job listing ouhave to enter your phone number in order to go on to another page, it then says that you will receive a pin number via your phone, I believe this is how they are getting the "OK" from all us unsuspectiong non crooks. They embed this pop up within a legitimate webpage..if you dont put in that page.. well....I just said Screw it,
THey should POST IN HUGE LETTERS, that by putting in your phone number HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE WEBPAGE you are UTILIZING>!!!!!!! At the TOP OF THAT LITTLE BIT OF DISCLOSURE INFORMATION THEY GIVE YOU>!
