Keeps calling 5-7 times a day...does NOT leave a message....
I dont even have a CitiMortgage !!

My payment to Citi Mortgage is not late (15 day grace period) but we get a phone call every 4 hours. They spend a huge amount time with these phone calls it seems it would be more profitable to wait until the payment was actually late. I dont believe we have ever been"late" but we get the annoying phone calls. Thier success rate must appear to great considering most people recieving the phone calls do pay but they would anyway.

You nailed it they do the same to me

they called early on sunday morning and late at night on any night of the week.  

We do have an account with Citi, but no payment due for a while.  They never leave a message when they call.  

Payment arrangement have been made, they still call 3x a day. Uncalled for. Left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.

First time receiving this call at 7:30am. They left an automated voice mail saying i need to contact them. I don't have a mortgage, and have never dealt with Citibank in my life! If you have the capability, just block the number.

So much ignorance on one thread...where to begin?
1) Just because a bank or a corporation with the word "bank" or "mortgage" calls you, that does not AUTOMATICALLY mean they are calling b/c a payment is late/overdue/not technically late but still within the grace period/let's slice and dice the terminology some more making distinctions without a difference...
2) I (along with many other apparently) have no mortgage with Citibank, have never done business with Citibank, and have NO reason for Citibank to be calling me. Not that my personal finances are any of your business, but my mortgage is current, as is all of my accounts. So for the [***] that wants to lead with "pay your mortgage" well, you can eat a big of moldy d-i-c-k-s!

So, given the available facts at hand -- MAYBE it's just that Citibank has a long list of phone numbers that it  has it's dialing software call up routinely to harass or sell a product. MAYBE it's not even Citibank that's calling, rather another entity altogether that has a greeting identify them as Citibank because it's part of a scam and there are [***] out there that want to harass you and take your money. Or, I *suppose* it's possible that everyone reporting this number is a bunch of degenerate delinquents that don't pay their mortgages. But, really, given the facts, what is more likely?
