I have also began getting these annoying messages! I just got a new phone and apparently the last person who had this number owed some money to them!! I try calling back, but there is no option to speak with anyone. This is ridiculous! They've called me up to FOUR times a day and are using up my minutes when I have to listen to the same voice mail over and OVER again! This is horrible customer services.

I also wonder if perhaps this is a scam. Considering there is no customer service to speak of and ALSO that they ask for your social security number really bothers me. I would not suggest giving them ANY information!! I'm going to continue to look for ways to get them to stop!

A reminder call at home is fine but DO NOT CALL MY JOB!!!  Then say I apologize but we do not have your work numbe ron file to remove this anyway. Well figure it out and remove it.

I don't get it.  I have lived in Florida since 1975 and have been a captive of FPHell forever - but they have NEVER called me before.  I recently signed up for bill by email, but when did this transition to harassment by telephone?  My bill is not late, their customer service is horrible, and I will have the Florida Public Service Commission intervene on my behalf AGAIN.  Give them a call and complain - FPL HATES the PSC.  They would rather come and clean your house rather than be contacted by the PSC!!

have this number calling me 15 times in the last 2 days! Looking for someone about there 835.00 bill. Spoke to 5 diffrent people at FPL. But yet still getting these phone calls... What a JOKE of  a COMPANY

Clls from this FPL number may actually be of help to some of you. It is a recorded message from FPL but not all calls coming from this # are collection calls. They also use this number to inform consumers that they may be eligible for United Way help for energy assistance to pay their bill. They provide a legitimate phone number to the United Way agency in your area. Especially helpful for disabled persons, unemployed or senior citizens.

This number keeps calling my cell phone. I have never provided my cell phone number to FPL. How can I make them stop?

Annoying calls at all times.

They call me all.the.time. FPL trying to say I'm late. They just called me today twice. It's June 5th and my bill isn't due until the 20th. SCAM!

They start calling as early as 7:30am and as late as 9:30pm. They have called my home as many as 7 times in one day and I had just received my new bill. I was told my friend that the new remote electric meter they just installed make it so that they will no longer come to your door. They will mail a past due notice, call with a shut off warning & then they will remotely shut off your service at the meter by computer. Many good employees lost their jobs with 15 years and more service. They are victims of the Corporate digital take over of as many middle class American jobs as they can program an imported mega-computer to replace for pennies. Don't they realize that without us, they will not have jobs any longer because no one will have the money to pay for their goods or services. What a sad way for a once Proud, Honest, Compassionate Democracy to slip into oblivion and become just another third world nightmare...

This people call me thousand time a day. Is crazy call. and them say we has to pay for Florida Power Light We call the Florida Power and them told me never call me for nothing. Maybe this people is a bad. Thank you.

These [***] have been calling since 5:39 this morning! I have had this new phone number since February of 2013. They called a couple times before and I told them to stop calling, but they never did! They are causing me to not get enough sleep!

Caller claims to be from Florida Power and Light and that your account is past due. THIS IS A SCAM (see http://www.fpl.com/landing/protect.shtml#tab_two-tab). FPL will NEVER cold-call you and ask for payment over the phone -- this is their policy. If you have given this scammer your CC number, call your credit card company IMMEDIATELY.
