the call saying I owe them 5 thousand dollars and try to get my social security number and address. They have called me three times in the past week. I do not have the credit card they are talking about and never have. I told them it is not me but they continue to call, then hang up on me after I will not give them my personal information.

These guys keep calling for someone that does not live here. Who are they?

Prank call.
Several times a day.

All hang up if I picked up the phone.

Just lately getting phone calls from this number. Says no name on cell, so I don't answer those, which ends up being a missed call. Only thing is I don't use this phone number for anyone other then a few family members. I did get a voice message a few weeks back asking for someone elses name wanting a call back, I did not notice the phone number then. I don't have any money problems, that it would be a collection agency calling and it would not be under this cell number anyways. I belive they have my number under someone elses name if that is the case.

Calls me everyday, very rude and interrogating.  Then they asked me for my home address.  I thought that was a little weird, since if they are a debt collector, they should know my address.  I didn't give them ANY information.

Hung up on me...never talked to me

I called the number back from my cell phone (with a *67 in front of number being dialed) and "Joe" from "Capital Management" answered.

This number keeps calling me 3-4 times a day.

Collection agency, called few times a day 7 days a week

They call me multiple times a day asking for a guy I used to work with.  I have told them many times that they are calling the wrong number but they won't stop.  I now saved their number and labeled it "Don't Answer" so I no longer speak to them but they just keep calling anyway.  This type of harassment should be illegal.

It is illegal. It hard to pinpoint so, Just ignore it and never answer. The collections sometimes get wrong numbers and they are the bottom of the barrel for this type of work. They try to break people into getting information and/or payments. Remember, the big credit companies SELL this debt to these low life companies, so, since the actual creditors have given up, this is what's left to make a few bucks for the "collection agencies"; Which really are a type of aftermarket of debt collection. It must work, because I see an awful lot of complaints for this matj8ter..

these are crazy people!!!!! I have a very sick spouse and all they do is make threats.

I found them on a fip off, fraud web site.

On my answering machine was a garbled recording, saying to please hold, please hold...and then some mush mouthed kid came on, mumbled something VERY unprofessional, and then hung up.

I got curious and dialed *69 and this was the number that had called.

It is too bad they didn't say who they were, or who they were calling for.

The call was very unprofessional.

I just give companies my google voice number. If I dont like you, its the Blocked for you.And now, sprint allows blocking calls. Im not sure if sprint allows blocking of 800 numbers, but Google DOES.

BTW Google Voice is free.
