OMG!  They need to stop.  They call my cell, I answer, no one there.  They immediately call my work #, I answer, no one there.  This happens 3-5 time per day.  It's really annoying.  Ok, I don't have the best credit, but I'm paying them timely, and even more than the monthly minimum.  They need to calm down.  I need to find a different card to put this balance on cause this company is obnoxious.  hindsight is 20/20, right?

I have no credit card from Cont. Finance, but since late September, I got several calls from this number. What's wrong with them? I've never given my contact info to Continental Finance or any others!

I was getting these calls because the person who had my cell phone number before me had an account. I called them back and they removed my number from the system.

    pissed off
Receive two calls from these people on Friday 3, 2015 at a different times of the day. Then receive a call on July 4,2015 from these knuckle heads at 9:38 in the morning. Enough is enough they will be reported to my cell phone provider and an attorney to put a stop to these knuckle heads

    Annoyed with the calls!
So I finally got someone to talk back to me when I answered the call.  This is of course after their 5-9 calls a day for the last week.  The guy tells me that he is calling to remind me I have a payment coming due in 5 days????  Isn't that what a statement is for?  So I proceeded to tell the gentleman, I am recording this call, I am attempting to stop harassing calls from him and his company to remind me of future payments not yet due and that any information obtained from him will be used for that purpose.  I then asked him to verify his name, his company name, his title and the reason for the call.  He told me he didn't authorize the call to be recorded.  So, I told him to notate my account that this # he and his company keep calling is my recorded line and as soon as I answer it, the recorder turns on.  He said he would have a supervisor call me back to discuss my account b/c he wasn't allowed to have his call recorded.  I told him to not bother since my account was in good standing.  I advised him I would be, if needed, requesting a copy of my phone records from the phone company and turning them over to the FTC showing the continuous calls, along with my statement showing I don't even have a payment due right now and no past due balance.  Christ sakes, this is a brand new card, I've never used it and have not even activated it yet.  I told him if it continued I would just not activate the card and it would cancel, no harm no foul.  He hung up on me.  Really, call me and then don't like what I have to say so you hang up on me?  Really professional.

I have a Matrix card and they told me that I owe them $80.00 because they said that I did not make a payment in July. Although, I paid the account off.  They called me yesterday and I told them what payments I made around that time through my checking account.  They give me a high interest credit card that needs to be paid on the due date or I am  late. I thought 30 days past due is late.  I mailed in my payment through bill pay and they said that they did not get my payment but I had the receipt and confirmation number to give them that I paid it.  My recommendation is "Do not get this credit card" to improve your credit.  Try a secured credit card through your bank or credit union.

Any time you do not pay on or before the due date you are late even if it's the day after the payment was due. They can only report you as late on your credit report if you're 30 or more days late. And yes they can charge you a late fee.

they will blow up your phone starting the day your payment is due even if you've paid it. Keep in mind they use an auto dialer to make their calls. Still rather annoying.

They started calling me at 8 am on the day my payment was due. No one was ever on the line. Called several times and still no one on the line. I called them. Today is my birthday and they are bugging me. I made my payment last night but their system not updated  yet. They  took my phone number off my account so this won't happen again!

I have several credit cards through continental finance. I just finally got tired of them insulting my intelligence, and blocked their number, after receiving numerous calls. I know when my payment is due... you don't have to call me 5, 10, 15 times to remind me. A one-time reminder courtesy call I can understand.  But, calling almost a dozen times a week is taking it to the point of absurdity.  My recommendation to others is to block the number, and let them get their money when it's due, not a moment sooner.
