I received calls, and message several times from this number stating they were Convergint Debt Collector.  I knew I had no outstanding bills, so after about the 3rd call in two month. I called back, person answered on first call after a long pause I might add.  She asked who I was, found out I was not who they were looking for.  She was very nice, and said she would remove my number from her list.

Several automated messages on answering machine with no clue who they're trying to reach. I was surprised when a live person picked up the phone on the 2nd ring. They were calling about the person who previously had this number several years ago. I was told the number would be removed from their list.

I get calls showing up on caller ID as coming from 720-837-2954. The messages left are to call a debt collector, at 800-477-5451. This afternoon, I called the latter number and was answered by a woman saying the company is Convergys Outsourcing. She asked for Nathaniel . . . who she says owes their client a debt. I told the woman I am not Nathaniel, don't know a Nathaniel . . . , and that I've had my current phone number for 15 years and that no Nathaniel . . . has ever been associated with the phone number during the 15 years I've owned my phone number.
The woman representing Convergys Outsourcing asked for my number, the one getting their calls and messages in order to remove it from their calling list. Whether foolish or not, I complied, telling her if I continue to get improper debt collection calls from their company, I will pursue legal remedies.

do what i did - go to the local auto supply store and buy an air horn - when they call back wit til you hear a real voice and let the can go off - works every time

this is a debt collector - maybe. i called them back and told them that the phone number they dialed is 1 - on the do not call list 2 - is unlisted and unpublished 3 - is only given to family members therefore they had gotten this number illegally and that not only was i recording this conversation but that a federal judge was listening. after about a 10 second pause i again asked the individual how they obtained this phone number. when i received no answer i let my air horn can go off in his ear. he screamed as i laughed and told him i was going to send guido with his violin case if they ever called me again. that was 8 months ago and no return call

Robocaller identifying itself as Convergent Debt Collection and asking for a call back.  When I refused to give name of persons telephone, she stated she could not help me.  There are no outstanding debts to go to a collection agency.

This number keeps calling me and my grandparents, saying I owe money but I know that I don't. This is harassment, especially to call my elderly grandparents.

This is a a debt scammer.  Try blocking the number, they might just change numbers, but it is worth a try.  See these links here for info and how to report these crooks.

I kept getting call from this company. I have a high credit score. I have never owe anyone. This 800 is definitely a scam. Dont fall for their trap.
