This is a scam caller. They impersonate bank tellers from companies such as American Express. They use call forwarding systems to call from the banks original phone number but will leave a voicemail with to call back using this phone number. If you get a call from a bank teller and they ask for any identifying or personal information such as… Account number, PIN, SSN, Tax ID, or address, then it is a scam. A bank cannot ask those questions via email, text, or phone call.

Repeated calls about an "attempted charge on my bank of america account". I have ZERO BofA accounts and zero credit cards btw.

I received a call, claiming to be Bank of America. I was told someone tried to use my card. This was the second time, I had received a call. The first time they told me to call 833-225-5516. This time they said to call 800-504-7355.

I called the 833-325-5516 number and was immediately asked for my card number. I was suspicious and hung up.

I called my card company. They said they didn't receive a fraud report from Target. I asked my card company to put my account on hold.

Feel safe, I called the supposed Bank of America number (800-504-7355. I got a busy signal. I called back several times and kept getting the business signal. This suggests a fraud.
