This number is calling my employer and I am not happy.  I don't remember giving anyone the permission to call my work. This is bad and could get me in big trouble with my employer.  This kind of stuff needs to be stopped.

They called my new employer. What the heck is going on? How did they get the number? Who are they? I never heard of this company.

How can I stop these people from calling me my job?

Company is Verifacts Inc. This company contracts with collection agencies to collect information for them.

We received a call for one of our employees. It is a violation of an employee's privacy to provide any information regarding that employee, including whether or not they are even an employee, or were an employee without that employee's consent. To avoid lawsuits most employers won't even take a phonecall from a company like this without YOUR written consent and then will respond to requests in writing only.

It is illegal for a debtors or their representatives to call a person's place of employment UNLESS they have a court order and pursuing garnishment.  If you receive a court document showing a court date, make sure you show up, or the debtor will win by default!  If a garnishment is being pursued, they can only collect a nominal amount (each state may be different, but I believe it is about 10% of your pay BEFORE taxes).  If a company harrasses your employer, contact your state Attorney General's Office and report them.  Don't waste your time with the Better Business Bureau.  They have no legal power over stopping a creditor.  I hope this helps!

this phone number calling me 1 815 380 9528 and asking is this this person name...i have no idea who the world are they....and they said they work for Verifacts and need to verifired your mailing address...i said what....i am is a us citizen and living in the usa...there nothing wrong...i did not commit any crime so why they keep calling me ...and asking for some one name i have no idea...that so stupid... never trust these verifacts people.....wake up people..stop calling people around and asking ....so please never ever tell these people anythign of your id or anything....this can be stole id theft...

As an HR person, I completely agree.  I never release info without a signed court order or an employee waiver.  Too many risks.

This agency has called our office a number of times attempting to get information about one of our employees.  They are asking for employment verification and verification of SS# among other things.  I have asked them to send me a request for information, signed by my employee which they are unable to provide.  They leave ext. 521 when they call.

Someone from this number called our Law Firm looking for an employee that does not work here.  We do not tolerate debt collectors calling to in reference to an employee.  This lady left 800-542-7434 ext. 695  as a call back #.  No one by that name works at our Law Firm.  How do we get them to stop calling?

Someone from this place is harassing me everyday at work. I am very busy at work and i don't know who these people are but i want the calls to stop!!

I Cant believe these people called my job. I would never give my job number out.

A lady named Sunny called asking my boss to verify my employment.I have not applied for any credit nor a new job lately so there is no reason for someone to " verify" my employment!

They called my part time job, wanting information.

I just had the exact same thing happen to me. Not acceptable and will be reporting this immediately.
