Calls are coming from Healthcare Revenue REcovery Group, LLC.  Their mailing address is 1801 NW 66th Avenue, Siet 200C, Plantation, FL 33313. According to Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, you can stop the harrassment by sending the agency a certificed letter expessly requesting that they ceasing calling you. Check the Act for details on how to write your letter.

HRRG calls from 4 phone numbers:

    800-984-9115 800-567-1757 888-984-9115 954-377-2937

I receive a call message "this is HRRG We look forward to helping you" at least once a day for six months.  Repeatedly and at late hours.  They a medical collection agency call center in Plantation Florida.  Division of Teamhealth.com. Calls demanding cease and desist brought confrontational questioning.  I owe no medical debts.  One "agent" says "I don't have an account for that number so why would we call you".  Another claims that "I am the one harassing and he will find me and sue".  The others want me to disclose the phone number receiving the calls when it is on his computer screen.  Another admitted the number was present and calls would cease but they did not.  The calls started coming again after a few months.  Calls like the HRRG ones are in violation of federal and state telemarketing and debt collecting statutes.

I too, am being harrassed by HRRG, after several months I actually asked them their name. They are very evasive with addresses to send a letter to.  I will not pay this bill they claim I owe them.  I will contact my AG of Oregon and apply a complaint against this company and send them a certified letter.

Oregon states individuals can sue a collection agency up to $1000.00, but as a class action lawsuit, will do much more damage.

I received a call from this number on my cell asking to speak to the legal guardian of someone named Oscar.  When I told them they had the wrong number they said thank you and hung up.  Hopefully, I won't get repeat calls from them.

They won't quit calling me.  They ask for "Barney" every time.  Like the purple dinosaur?  No Barney here.  They keep saying they will take me off their list but they never do.  I've complained to the FTC and BBB.  They have an "F" rating with the BBB.

They are a collection agency who will attempt to collect from you, even if they step over the line.

We receive calls from HRRG, 1-800-567-1757 pretty much everyday now. They leave a message if we do not answer and if we do answer it is a generated recorded message asking us to call them back and they will be willing to help us with our bill.  But when you call back, it is nothing but rude and arragant representatives on the other line.

We have continued to ask HRRG to stop calling regarding a debt owed, when a payment is being made monthly.  They are continuing to call because the $5.00 a month we are sending is not sufficient enough for them.  They refused to put us on a payment plan months ago that was under $50.00 , so this is what I can afford at the time and what I send every month.  Now they are refusing to send a billing statment for the last 3 months.  They stated to me just a minute ago they do not have to send a billing statement because the debt has been there since Dec. 09.   The reps stated that the doctor  refuses to make a payment plan for this debt.  My husband was laid off of work twice in a year and we are behind on bills, that is why we cannot afford it.  He was not the only bill we had from this hospital 1.5 day stay.  Every service provider - all 7 of them for that visit worked with us regarding making payments but this guy.   Soo....  Now the harrassing calls and now no billing invoice to show what we have paid.  They are cashing the checks every month.

One guy from this co. HRRG literally raised his voice by yelling and asked me, "Did your parents ever teach you how to pay your bills on time.  You owe this and you should be ashamed of yourself."

The girl just a few minutes ago told me, " if you do not want us to call, just say so." I told her we did repeatedly, every time you call", and she said, "ok " and hung up on me.   Today is July 13, 2010

After searching for their site, I read the brochure that is given to the healthcare providers. They are very misleading and some practices may not even know what they do to "get their money".  It specifically states in their  brochure:

    Our Medical Collection Services Include:

Respectfully reminding your patients of their payment obligations through a mail and telephone campaign
Using a predictive dialer for greater effectiveness in locating and speaking directly to debtors
Recording all telephone conversations between collectors and debtors for later review if a dispute arises
Using advanced technologies, such as electronic skip tracing and electronic verification systems, to locate hard-to-find patients and identify insurance coverage more quickly
Filing insurance claims for many patients if insurance turns up at any point during the collections process
Providing cutting-edge, "slice and dice" reporting which tracks the performance of your accounts
Adhering to collection agency standards and federal and state laws
Pursuing collection efforts in a professional and ethical manner while maintaining strict compliance with HIPAA and FDCPA requirements
Treating your patients with dignity and compassion
Implementing new collection strategies as needed to enhance performance

As I continued reading their website to get healthcare business, I noticed that they state in the descriptions about the company that the reps are outsourced, that website is  http://www.teamhealth.com/

IMBS is not at all assciated with HRRG and should not be mentioned along with them. IMBS is a billing service in Charlottesville that calls on behalf of the physicians They work for. They are very professional and Courteous.

This place HRRG has called a few times, along with other collectors, asking for Kimberly Bridges, these people at HRRG are always extremely rude, cut you short, and when you ask about them, they hang up on you. I just started to tell them that I have no idea who she is, and the guy started getting nasty on the phone with me. That's when I found out that they also hang up on you if you cuss at them. I called the number back and the girl that answered the phone got nasty with me too. I called again and asked for a supervisor, she took my info, and no one ever called me. This place is bad news, should be shut down for abusing people. It must really suck to go to a job that requires you to be the biggest jerk you can be.

    same name/wrong person
What I've done so far was call them back and harass them! I told them multiple times that they've got the wrong person and need to remove my number. As soon as I get off with one rep, I call back again to verify that the number has been removed. They're probably lying, but I don't mind playing games. I've got lots of free time to bug the hell out of them for the calling the wrong person.

I have been getting a phone call from this number. It is a vaild debt for my 16 month old child, however I am going through a divorce and literally have no extra money to send to them. The people who call ALWAYS tell me "How are you taking care of this today?" I tell them, I don't have any money to do so and they can try calling my child's father. They proceed to say this "We can see you have $1,300 available to pay today, so what card would you like to put it on?"

Funny since all my credit cards have been restricted by the bank...

When I tell them that I would like to know where and how I can get to that money, because I don't see it, they say "You're wrong, we see it" and then hang up.

How do I report them? I am getting sick and tired of this!
