they call every day at least twice if not more. i have call intercept so they can only leave a message and they never leave a name for a contact person.

I think this is more of the education scam. They are jerks

Call everyday.  Finally left a message on answering machine--gave me 3 seconds to hang up if I wasn't the person being called (which was my name), then another 3 seconds to make sure no one else could hear the call because it was "a personal and confidential" financial call, and talked about debt collection.  I think they identified themselves as First Source Financial.

I don't have any uncollected debt.

It a debt collector and Dallas Presbyterian use them. They are extreamly rude and when they ask you a question they won't let you answer. They go out of their way to not let you talk, by yelling calling names and then tell you you have bills to pay and then they hang up. They were called United Revenue and they use this number too.817-640-4477.If you look that one up it gives you their address and locations

This is FirstSource Financial and they are a collection agency. They represent several large clients. In the Ashland, KY area the do collections for King's Daughters Medical Center.

They call me at least once a day, but they never leave a message. They always call when I'm at work and cannot answer.

They call me I listen but don't talk. Then hang up. You can get blood out of a turnip.

they call every couple days and a message comes on that says please hold for the next available representative and then I hang up.

I get this as well, only on my phone, it cuts out the rest of the message after it says that I have 3 seconds to go to a private space to hear the rest of what they have to say. So strange.

Someone called from this number, didn't leave a voice mail but a few minutes later I got a text message from the same number. It said "I'll call you later".

I get a call from this number quite often. Today was the first day that someone actually talked to me. It was a lady asking my name and I wouldn't give it to her, then she hung up

They call every day when I'm at work and never leave messages. When I can answer I say hello and they hang up. Tonight I called the number back and an automated voice came on saying all representatives are busy and to hold. Then a guy came on the line and said his name was Otis Spunkmier or something like that. I asked why they hang up when I answer. He asked my name, I said, well you called me, dont you know who you called. Then he said if I didnt tell him my name he would hang up. I again asked what he wanted, he wouldnt tell me. I asked who he was and he said he had already identified himself. Again he said if I wouldn't tell him my name he would hang up, so I said goodbye.

They've called my husband frequently. They ask him for personal information but won't tell him who they are, saying there's no way to know who they have called unless he gives this information. He refused and explained he will not give out info to someone over the phone if he doesn't know who he's talking to. He told them to send him something in the mail which they have not.

They call almost every day but have not left a message until today. They gave me 3 seconds to identify myself. Then said they were One Advantage calling on a debt collection. Also gave me a reference number to call. I know for a fact I don't have any debt that I should be getting calls on. Sounds like a scam.

Otis Spunkmeyer is a company that makes baked goods, and they are used for fundraising a lot.

It is a collection agency for some hospitals in Texas, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, and a few other places. They don't buy the accounts, they get them and work them for the client. They are supposed to stop calling you as soon as you tell them it is a wrong number, and they should remove it so they don't call you again. Supervisors are always available, even when they say they aren't. DNC lists don't work for them either, the laws don't stop them from calling.

This is not her.

They call two to three times a day and are looking for someone with a similar name that resides at a totally different location. They do the if this isn't you then hang up but of course you can't hang up because it talking to your voice mail box. They call and leave thinly veiled threats . If you answer they tell you that you are lieing and need to sack up and pay your bills. They leave messages that tell you they are taking you to court. Well there are no unpaid past debts that never got paid (pay my bills every month have never defaulted on one) there are no judgements against anyone in my home.
