This appears to be a scam number. I am in the wrong country to be getting calls from this lot, or to have ever had a business relationship with them. They refused to communicate by email, so presumably it was going to be marketing.

It's a 1&1 number.  I highly recommend this company as they provide the most inexpensive, fully featured, hosting services that I have ever come across.  My sites are all running lightning fast and in my many years of being a customer, I can think of only 1 time I ever noticed a service outage and it was due to a DDOS attack.  They are probably trying to call you to convince you to try a new service.

Recommendations made in postings to a forum for reporting Scammers and nuisance callers are often met with hoots of laughter or abuse.        Why should this cold call result in something different?      If you elect to respond, perhaps you could begin by telling us why you were checking the post in the first place if all of your experiences were so good.
