I got multiple calls from 8663450281 and they didnt have the decency to leave a VM message. Just reached them and it turns out to be Geico Insurance, because I did a rate quote request a week ago, so now they are trying to do the hard sell! I received their email quote but am now being hustled by their sales people. I think for this reason, I will choose progressive instead... :)~

My husband spoke with Pat Mills about an apartment that wants money when we left because of a roach infestation. (Don't think so.) We agreed to call her back when we got the chance and money. So I get a call today and she starts yelling at me that I have the money to pay them and she knows it. She tells me that I better be comfortable where I am because once she sends this in to collections (which is where I thought she was calling from) we won't "be able to move." I try to get a number from her so I can sort it out and get this paid off and she tells me she won't even bother saving this till Friday and hung up. My husband got home, called her and she denied raising her voice. When he said we would pay after we sorted out finances, she yelled at him. These people are crazy!

I've also gotten calls from them for my sister-in-law who lives in CA and they insisted that she could be reached at our number... on the East coast of the US. What?

Got a very nasty voicemail from a "Jack O'Neil" today telling me to call 800.658.0052 x228.  I have no idea what he is trying to collect, but after reading people's experience here I will not be calling them back.  Here's there website... I can't believe their professional standards BS!

I just received a voice mail left from a guy named Jack O'Neil. He literally said in the voice mail that if I don't return the call that I will regret it. This sounds like a threat to me and its extremely upsetting. I'm not even the person he's calling for. Keeps asking for Sarah and I've had this number for the last three months now and my name is definitely NOT Sarah. What a threatening jerk. This company needs to be looked into.

I got a call from Alex North and Emma. I settle a debt 2 months ago and now they are harrasing me asking for another $500.  These guys are rude, I believe they just want to collect as much as they can even if they have to arrase people or not to honor previous settlements.

How can we stop them from keep harrasing us?

These people are very rude and will not work with on settlement at all.. Especially if you deal with Pat Mills and Emma Horrible. They should go bankrupt for all I know.

Filed my FTC Complaint today! These people are horrible. PAT MILLS refused to tell me any details about where she was calling from or who I "might" have owed money to. They are HORRIBLE!

these people have been very rude to me...even after i tryed to set up a payment plan...sent me no bill ...no paper work at all ...just rude phone calls ..from 3 people in that office...the main one pat mills...

I got a call from this number early in the morning stating that my husband and i owe over $1,000 in damages. the apartment was in good shape when we left and we paid a security deposit when we signed the lease, we never were contacted about this before so we called the apartment complex and we have no remaining balance.

Person by the name of Emma call looking for my son and daughter-in-law first call was on Wednesday the 9th of November and again today 14th of November, they keep calling my cell phone, thing I want to know is how did they get my cell number. I want to first say, I worked for this company directly but understand this was not really a choice. i had to take care of my family and they were the first to call me back and say you are hired. I was only there for a month and a half before I left due to I couldn't take how they tried to make me harrass people when everyones times are hard.

However, from the inside here are some tips:

The company is Associated Credit & Collection Beareau, 914 Eyster Blvd, Rockledge FL

They get their debts from Apartment communities, and Health First hospitals.  They will call you tell you that you ahve to pay this and if not they will attempt many different threatning strategies.

They will tell you that they are on the phone with an attorney on the other line (Sean Hunter) usese this alot! Trust me I have heard him say this first hand.  They will tell you that they are going to put it on your credit. Yes it may go on there, most likely it already is, however I am sure you already know that.  If you tell them when they call these exact words "Cease and Desist all further communications" they legally have to stop per the FDCPA.  Also you can mail them a letter Cease and desist letter. Do it certified if you can that way you have receipt that they received it.  Keith Jackson he is the manager.

However one more tidbit these names they are giving you are alias. They are not the real names. I was Mrs. Page If i ever called you please I apologize. I udnerstand that times are hard but also understand that I was just doing my job. HOwever I do know I never threatened anyone, with any recourse, other than it could affect your credit.

When it comes to the bills you owe. Call the hospitals directly if it is a hospital bill. Alot of times they will settle for a lot less than what this company will. Trust me customers would always call and say that they had spoken with the biller directly and it had been settled for much less.

In addition:

They find phone numbers of people you may know and realtives by pulling your credit report. They find last known addresses last knwon employers and current information this way as well.

Is Associated Credit and collection bureau known to garnish wages or levy bank accounts?
