Unknown name; no message left

I have received over 100 calls from 800 679 0847 over the past 6 months.  I found out that is was a company called Database Systems Corp.  Their clients, such as pizza hut, lease their automated dialing system in order to deliver advertisement calls and such.  You can call the number back and press 1 to be added to the "do not call list".  In my case, however, pressing 1 added me to the do not call list but the calls kept coming anyway.  I finally got in touch with them on their website and they are in the process of removing me from their call list.  What a hassle this was.  I hope that when they think about their lives as employees of such an annoying company that they feel very depressed.  I hope they go bankrupt and that hell exists to they can burn there for an eternity. :)

From Chicago Symphony Orchestra on 8/13/10, about buying single tickets for the fall season.

Message from Texaco Express Lube thanking me for my business.  Had just had an oil change done yesterday by them.

Received a phone call from this number but no message was left.

Got phone call 12/24/10 8am, didn't answer but left a message.  It's an automated message from Century 21 real estate, in the end says you can call back this number to be removed from phone list.

Received a call on 2/28/11 from this number.  They left a message saying it was local news and beware of tornado warnings.

5TH Avenue Theater in Seattle, calling to say location had changed for an event.

This number appears to be a company that delievers messages for a host of companies.

The 5th Ave Theater in Seattle calling (recorded robocall) asking for donations or to purchase tickets.  I'm a past ticket holder.  My guess is this was from some firm contrasted by the 5th Ave?

800-679-0847 called me three times already today.

Recieved a call from this number.  It was an automated message saying "This is Franklin Financial" and to return the call as soon as possible at (414)447-5130.  Does the 800 number belong to a company you pay to have a message sent out?

Fifth Ave Theater advertising a new show in Seattle WA

It must be a service that various companies use. My message was legit - about an upcoming musical production at local 5th Ave Theatre. Basically a sales call - I have been a customer there in past.

Didn't answer the phone. The caller left a voicemail saying that it was the Chicago Symphony Center and reminded me to buy tickets for the upcoming concert season. I had attended a concert there earlier this year. I am certain this is how my number was given to this calling service.
All of these comments would lead me to believe this number is a calling service that multiple businesses utilize, not one business.

Got a call from this number saying press 1 for an emergency message and then it disconnected.

Called at 2:06pm on 7 Nov 2013.  I don't answer 1-800 calls anymore.

I have been receiving calls every day from this number for about 1 month.   Don't know who this is.  They don't leave a message or anything.  I have stopped answering phone.  

My church uses this phone number to send out prayer requests and other messages from our pastor.

This number dials my cell phone several times a day and even at night (last night at 1:54).  It sounds like a long buzzing beep like a fax machine makes. No message.

Like Sara above, I've been getting calls from this number ALL SUMMER!!!  I don't pick up the calls because they don't have a name associated with them, but there is always a message left and it's always the same--a fax buzz on my voicemail.  The worst was when it called me at 4:45am--I have a 98 year old mother living in another state and I am the person who would be the first contacted in an emergency (or worse) so any oddball time calls are cause for concern.  I jumped to get the phone only to see it was this stupid number.  I was furious, but because there's nowhere to call to stop it, there's nothing I can do.    For a while I was getting the calls as often as three and four times a day, but lately it's not as often--now it's only once a week or so--last call was on August 28th...  If anyone has any ideas about where they are originating, please post here.  I've had other similar calls in the past, but they've always had a name associated with them and were clearly faxes being sent to the wrong number so I was able to call and get them to fix the number they were sending to.  It would be great to do that now.  Unless this is ET trying to phone home--sadly he's not reaching it.
