Wells Fargo Fraud dept

I can confirm this is Wells Fargo Fraud department. When I rejected the call on my mobile they called me on my work phone. To be safe when you return the call you could use the number on your card to be sure. So much spoofing and scamming going on.

Don't believe the people saying this call is legit. They are the scammers!  I called the number on my card and they verified that there was no activity for the $1,300 amount the scammers claimed happened. They also confirmed it was a scam call.

FRAUD! SCAMMER! this is not Wells Fargo fraud department. They call you saying that you have fraudulent charges make you seem like they are helping you. They people will ask you for your personal info, send verifications to your phone number and have you enter your PIN. Meanwhile they are getting this info from you to impersonate you and take your money..they did this to me. Thankfully for trusting my gut and not what 800notes other comments say they where only able to get some of my money before they wiped my account clear I ran to the bank and pulled out all my money. When you call it does say Wells Fargo but I promise you it's NOT. PLEASE hang up right away

Got a call at 5 am , and didn’t answer.

This is a scam ! Got a voice mail left by this # because my phone will not accept calls from anyone not in my contacts telling me there is suspicious activity on my account . I called the phone # on the back of my card & spoke to a rep from Wells Fargo who confirmed they have been getting complaints from others about thus same thing & after checking my account they confirmed they had not called & there was nothing wrong with my account. DO NOT RESPOND TO THESE CALLS !!!! SCAM !

Called about my Credit Card

They claim to be from Wells Fargo fraud prevention.  Wells Fargo sends out automated text when they suspect fraud.  They never call and it even says on their texts that they will never call and ask personal information.

Received call from this number saying there are suspicious activity on my card and told me the replacement card will arrive soon...

Supposedly a call from Wells Fargo Fraud Protection Dept. I hung up, then Googled the # & it is listed as Spam. Asked me for my card # due to.unusual activity on my card, $2,000, etc I gave them nothing!

This number leave me a voicemail at least once a month sometimes more saying that there’s fraud on my account and to call back or my card will be suspended. My card has never been suspended due to not returning these calls. The one call I have returned. I was told that no one tried to reach out to me from Wells Fargo, so I believe it is a scam number

Its a scam. Dont give them any info, call the number on the back of your card. They'll ask for the code that gets sent to your phone with "Wells Fargo will NEVER ask for this over the phone or txt" so dont provide them that code.

I agree and confirm that this is definitely Wells Fargo Fraud Dept.  They called me in real time while I was on the phone with a merchant and they wanted to check and confirm that I was the one using the card.  It scared me that they called so I called the 800-642-4720 on the back of my Wells Fargo card and they confirmed that this was in fact their Wells Fargo Fraud Department.  This was my experience, not sure what's going on.
