- StephaniAfter research I have found it to be Rite Aid.... people that are annoyed from getting calls and state they are on the do not call list. Most likely you gave them your number. This is a courtesy call letting you know your medications are available for pickup. I received a call the machine attempted to leave message, the only part I heard was patient. No I am not a Rite Aid employee I am a Rite Aid customer.

- joannie| 3 repliesRite Aid calling me to let me know my death causing drugs are ready. holy holy holy, this world is crazy, I told them before I am not her and I was threatened with psychiatric pick up so now I have to be this person who obviously isn't this person either. I even received calls for yet another person whose names is very similar to the one I am using. I am on the FTC do not call list, So now I guess I have to pay this attorney who discovered I am in the wrong identity and he was mad.

- Sah| 1 replyGood god you people complain so much. Its rite aid. If you are getting calls from them and you don't get scripts filled there, you need to call them and tell them because at SOME POINT either you or someone else used that number on file at rite aid.

- George replies to joannie| 2 repliesA pharmacist cannot issue a police section to have you picked up for a psych eval. Sounds like you have an identity issue, not a phone issue.
- jonie replies to George| 1 replyyes I have an identity issue, a pharmacy can threaten you with police actions, I filed reports with identity theft at FTC, I have valid complaints, do not be so crude. If you know something say something. Rite Aid clerk instigated id theft.
- Mildred replies to jonieYeah, you obviously do have an identity issue. You can't get your user name right twice.
- AnnoyedI have notified Rite Aid Pharmacy that the person they are calling no longer has this number. I have even received calls from the local Rite Aid Pharmacy and called them back to ask that they remove this number from their system and I still get this call twice a week notifying the previous holder of this number that a Rx is ready from the 800 number.

- CB replies to noneIf they are calling to let you know your drugs are ready, then you signed up for that service. Also, if they are calling you about your prescription, the DO NOT CALL registry doesn't apply since it isn't a telemarketer.
- Sandra replies to SahRite Aid calls up to ten times per day, to let me know some persons meds are ready. I called them and had my number removed from the calling list. That lasted about two weeks. They are right back to calling me. I've had this same number for over ten years. The calls started several months ago. Smh.
- AnonymousTelemarkers can get your name from the do not call list. Do not depend on it. And with Rite aid use the customer service number its on their website. And kill them with kindness. Be a pest and keep calling them till they get it fixed.Or go there in person and let them know.
- customer| 1 replyThis was Rite Aid calling to annouce a product recall. They did leave a message stating which product was being recalled and why - 5oz bag of popcorn because of some sort of dairy contamination. Tooo bad i had already eaten it the day I bought it!

- David W. replies to customerI also received the same call this afternoon, but part of the message got cut off. All I heard was a robo voice saying something about a "best by" date of February 2018 telling me not to consume the product and return it to my local Rite Aid store. I did buy a couple bags of "Big Win" cheese flavored popcorn at Rite Aid yesterday when I picked up my prescriptions, but it has a best by date of March 2018. I'm assuming that means it's safe to eat.
- none replies to none| 1 replyOne of the ways companies get around the Do Not Call legislation is they are allowed to RETURN calls. If you call any company, they can return the call, so Rite Aid's call isn't a nuisance call and it's legal. Problem is, all those 1-800 businesses on TV selling windows and bathtubs can suddenly clog your phone up with calls daily if you call them one time.
- JackReacher replies to noneYou only have one fraction of it right. The Do Not Call List is simply that, a list and is not legislation. The Do Not Call List or Registry is enabled by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and the Telemarketing Sales Rule. Now, if you have an established business relationship they can communicate with you as long as you have not told them otherwise. If you call a business and ask for information, they can return the call and provide said information. At all times you have the right to tell them not to call and they legally have to abide by it, otherwise you can sue them for at least $500 per call.
