We need an "other" option in the "Call Type" list, as this caller was none of the types listed.

I have a Verizon wireless account and purchased Asurion handset insurance when I purchased the handsets several months ago. I received a call tonight from this number, but it hung up when I answered. I searched for the source of the call, finding this site. I called the number and reached an automated system identifying the number as belonging to Asurion. The system looked up the account by the number with which I had called, but the address it wanted me to verify was incorrect. I hung up and called Verizon, who connected me directly to Asurion. The Asurion rep that Verizon reached for me stated that a claim had recently been opened and asked if my concern was regarding that claim or a new one. I stated that I'd not made any claims, so the rep said she would forward my complaint to the correct department.

They called my office and left a message but the first part was cut off. They seem to be claiming I need to return some sort of wireless phone equipment or I'll be charged $150. The number they list is a landline however and I have no wireless phone equipment at the business number listed.   It sounds like they're robo calling people trying to trick them into sending money or something.  The message says they are with Asurion but I have no idea who that is either.

Mine was a legitimate call from Asurian because my idiot husband had not yet sent back the broken phone he had after receiving  the replacement (like he told me he had.)

Mine was a legitimate call from Assurion because I lost the return mailer thingy for my old, broken phone (after I received the replacement) and had to get another one.

This is a legitimate call from a third party company called On Process Technology on behalf of Asurion.  They called to remind us that a broken cell phone had not yet been returned/received - they included the telephone # and the Asurion Claim #.

My caller i.d. said it was UNPROCSTECHASU, which should be Assurion (Verizon phone insurance). I didn't answer because I was at work.

If you purchase device insurance through Verizon (insure what other phone companies use them as well), Asurion is the insurance company you purchased coverage from and the company that will process insurance claims

I need help with this

I have no idea what Asurian  is. I have not had a phone repaired or replaced a phone. If a caller does not leave a message, I assume it is a bogus phishing call and don't call back.

Mine was to try and get me to sign back up for insurance which I dropped after 6 months.   Was I sure I wanted to drop it.   Of course I was sure I had to verify 3 time.    I hung up on them while they were trying to sell me insurance.
