I am also getting phone calls from this number and they do not leave a vm. not sure who this is and I cant find anything online.

I have gotten a call from this number many times saying the college is having them contact me to help in my situation.  I do not owe many to the school and the school said they do not hire outside services.  Most likely the call is a scam.

I receive a call from this number roughly every 2 months. A woman says her name is Pam, and is calling on behalf of both colleges I attended with "helpful information".

Received the same message as Ann and Luke reported

Says they are from Ascendium, a loan guarantor. This is a scam trying to say student loan payment is behind.  I have called the government student loan agency and they said my loan is in good standing.

I was getting a call from “Deja” on behalf of a particular school I once attended with some “helpful information”. She calls like every 2-3 months. I never answer.

Yep!! I they say the exact same thing to me

Me and my mom both just received a call from them and said I still have a loan to pay but I paid that long time ago. Definitely a scam.

Just received a call from this number saying they have helpful information for my daughter on behalf of Valencia College which my daughter graduated from 4 years ago and does not have any loans for that school. THIS IS A SCAM. I blocked this number.

Yeahhh 100% a scam number. It sounds believable at first but once I came here I realized it wasn’t. Pretty Scary.

They just called me. Real company but not on the behalf of my college. False representation and aggressive. Mispronounced my name and asked for private info. NOPE. My federal loan servicer confirmed I am up to date being in repayment. SCAM. Blocked and Reported to the FTC.

They have some updated information for me and wants me to call them back

Same my loans are through the dept of education through a company out of Philadelphia

I believe that these are scam calls and if the colleges are doing this they also should be brought up on charges of scamming

Just received a call from this number, ID said Ascendium 800.815.1288 -- I did not answer, and they left no message.  I Googled and found the REAL number for Ascendium: 800.236.2700 -- They confirmed they have NO record of me, which is correct since I'm not in default and we are still in forebearance through September.  So! Beware!!! This is a scam, likely to obtain your SSN and name/address/dob info so they can do some major damage.  Be safe people!

Persistent and won’t stop calling me and my daughter. We never talk to them. Blocking now, after reading these comments.
