I received a call from these idiots today.  Have no idea why they're calling because I hung up after I heard the recording.  What are they trying to do!

got a call from a different # but they left this # to call back on - recorded message ... Please call blah blah bah -- no name given asto who they were or as to who they were trying to reach ... do they really expect to get call backs?

This is a call from a company known as Nelson, Watson & Assoc.

I got a call from them, a recorded message asking for some woman who we've been getting calls for.  I called back and told the guy that his company kept calling me and that they were trying to find someone who didn't live at my number.  He was really abrupt, but he took down my number (supposedly) and said they wouldn't call again.  We'll see.

Stalker

Stalker?  Hmmm.  Call back gets "Thank you for calling CBE group.  All calls will be monitored and recorded."  They are a debt collection agency.  Their web page has been registered since 1998.  Of course it's possible that some "stalker" is spoofing the number but it's likely this debt collector is the caller.  If you are going to "deal" with them, follow the advice of the CFPB when calling debt collectors.
