800-845-2074 shows up on caller ID as 800 Service... does not leave a message.... HEY TELEMARKETERS. catch a clue..... if your product is WORTHY leave a message.... you are just proving it is either worthless or a scam.

I am so sick of all of the crap calls I get from these useless sacks of catsick. I am going to start putting a trace from now on and reporting them to the authorities as life threatening calls. AT&T should be ashamed of themselves for the amount of money they charge me for service and as terrible as it is, the should have some means to block more of this type of nonsense. I saw this number come across my caller id and chose to see who it was before I picked up, now that I have read the comments I won't be answering.  I too had Alltel and was recently switched to Verizon, so much for privacy.  I guess Verizon is looking to make some quick bucks by selling the numbers.

We just moved from NY to Oklahoma and have a bundled phone service with Suddenlink. We have received this call as well as the Viking magazine one. It is extremely annoying. I am going to check with Suddenlink to see if they have an incoming 800 number block. If not, I know that I saw a phone at Sears that DOES have one. I am going to register this number with the national do not call list--everyone knows this has to be done every three years?--but I suspect that this will not end these calls as they are not "legitimate" telemarketers (is there such a thing?).

I have got a phone call on my cell, it is strange only has 913 and no other numbers. Then on my home phone I have gotton a call from 800 824 2074 three days in a row and they don't leave a message.. very annoying

Was contacted today.  They answered the phone "hello".  I asked if someone had called me from this number and they wanted to talk to the owner of the business.  They kept asking if this was a business and I said no.  Something very strange about the calls.

Amber from Family Reader Service called my home this morning asking for the owner or manager. I told her this was a home not a business number and that I did not know how it became listed as a business number. She apologized and we hung up.
Ever since switching to Cox phone services, we have been hit with call after call from different sales agencies looking for the owner of the company.  It's pissing me off and I am looking into how to file a complaint on Cox, because someone there has sold our number (it's been unlisted for 10 years and we never had this problem until now)

I did forget to mention, we are also listed on the DoNotCall.gov website; have been. Does no good. We report these calls every time. No good as they do nothing but put the cmplaints on a list, and if the authorities feel the need to press charges, then they can.

These people have been calling both my cell and home phone. I answered once and no one responded. I called back it doesn't even ring it just hangs up the phone on me. They are getting on my last nerve.

someone called me as well... and told me I won a thousand dollar shopping spree online and I would have to and do i own a master card or visa I said yes they asked how old i was i told them and she said i won and that i would reciesve something to my email the next day I tried to use my card all kinda charges was made to my card for credit reports etc.

800-845-2074 calls my business every day, no one there...just clicks.  I have had this phone number for 2 years, but they just started calling a couple of months ago.

It is a telemarketing company "Reader's Sevice."  I got through to a lady who promised to remove me from the list.

I just looked at my cell phone and noticed that it had a missed call, so I called it back and it said that the call wasn't able to be recieved and try to back later. I am really tired of these annoying calls. I have had this phone for almost 5 months and haven't gotten these calls before. I have gotten wrong numbers, but nothing like this.

These people have called me five times a day for the past two weeks, not only from my cell phone but my home phone. They never leave a message. When I picked up several times, they ask me if I have a credit card as their first question. I don't. I said this to them, and then the woman repeated the question, and added that I was eligible for some implausible prize, when I said, "No, I don't have a credit card. I'm not interested, please remove me from your calling list", she simply hung up and called back again several hours later.
