I found a $49.50 charge on my debit card online statement. when I called 8008607182, it sounded like a fax machine answered. I'm working with my bank to get charge removed.

I finally figured out who they are.
I purchased accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance and they debited me every quarter.

Aww, yes - that's right.  I signed for life insurance through my credit union.  It is $15/month and they debit $45 quarterly.  Thanks!!

Just to let you know, this number belongs to the Affinion Benefits Group who provide insurance to many banks and credit unions.  Call it to discuss any charges you may have found on your bank statements.  This is not our phone number, but we do offer insurance to our members through this company as well, so that is why we are listed as one of the financial institutions when you google the number.

I received a charge for $33.00 after I closed my account. The phone number associated with the charge is 8008607182. Who is this and why are they charging me?

I did not receive a call, but a charge showed up on my credit card with this phone number referenced.  I know only that I didn't authorize anything for the amount of $16.50.

They got me for $49.50 also.

I noticed a $12.37 charge on my debit account.  It has the number 800-860-7182, I have not called it, but I did recently sign up for Accidental Death & Dismemberment ~ a supplemental insurance offered through my bank.  That is what the charge is for, hope this helps someone!  =)

AD&D 8008607182 7405056966 This phone number is associated with a Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance, of which I never signed up. They've have  continually debited $121.50 quarterly from my checking account, which I never agreed.
Currently I've placed a dispute with my bank, and am trying to get reimbursed for the money.

I did not receive a call from this company but I did find a charge for $99 for Aug. 8 2009.  I did not sign up for any insurance through my bank. The bank says I have to call the insurance company and have it canceled then send them the info of who I talked to and a cancellation number and I ask for a form to request a refund for premiums that were charged on my card. I am doing this but it is a lot of trouble to request insurance to be canceled that I never signed up for to state with.

I had the same number charged on my account which overdrafted it.  I did not sign up for this AD&D so I'm going to talk to my credit union about this.

They have been deducting $6.60 from my bank account and i've asked for a copy of the signed authority form but have yet to recieve answer.  It took me years before the last one was canceled, now it's started again.  The person I spoke with (Frank) was supose to see take care of the matter.

I found mystery charge for $8.25 on my Spirit charge account.  Called number but got no explanation.  Isn't this a fraud? 1 -800-860-7182     I got stung by an Acai Berry scheme.  Continuous charge for something I had never ordered.  It took several e-mails and nervous energy to stop the monthly charges.

thuis is a great scam  SCAM  make them show you the form you signed to get the insurance..  I did take $4.50 cents worth of their insurance until I learned you will never collect from it.  Only very specific  things are covered.  I requested this be canceled, and never noticed they not only did not casncel it but the raised the amount and began debiting my account every 4 months  now up to $22.50 each quarter for nothing.  I do not have and never did havde a certificate of insurance either..

I stopped the payment which was on my credit card.  It then was charged to my credit union account with out any authoprization.  The name is not even listed just the initials.
