Purchased Straight Talk and in process of activating. Andrew, with a VERY heavy accent left a message on my existing #.Couldn't understand much. So when John, with an even HEAVIER accent, called an hour later I answered thinking it might have to do with my activation. He wanted me to confirm a password. I hung up. Dont answer.

I got a call from this number at 10:31 Central time. shortly afterwards, my phone had an unregistered  sim card.

They sent me five text messages from 31778 to call this number. It says "Please contact our Customer Care Center at 1-800-867-7183 to complete this transaction".
I've been a Straight Talk customer for 3 years now. This is the first time it happened. The only thing I can think is I just purchased a second month of time and added it to my reserve. But I did that online and it was approved. I'm not calling it as I have an online receipt.

I have been getting texts from these jerks. It always says the same thing. "Please contact our Customer Care Center to complete this transaction" I don't use a tracfone and I have no idea what they are talking about. We never made any transactions with these people. When I call them,they won't answer.

I just keep getting text messages telling me to call this number to complete the transaction. First clue it was a scam since I don't use my debit card to reload my phone.. I buy a service pack from Wal-Mart and use it.
It says it is from Tracphone and it's just asking me if I want to add service or transfer to a different phone. It had an option to have my number removed from the contact list... but then says they do not have my number on file. It's really irritating.

This number called my son repeatedly during the school day. No one in our house does not and never has had a tracphone. The do not call list does not work with this business either.

Stop calling me - you have no right and I will sue if you don't stop!!!

It's StraightTalk or Tracfone technical department getting back with you on previous to make sure the problem was resolved. OK to answer not a sales just making sure previous issues were handled and resolved to your satisfation. Phone didn't accept card pin at first so I tried to re-enter it but didn't catch that pin command wasn't present. When I re-entered the Pin it was under code command screen causing the phone to lock up with screen stating Prepaid Service Disabled after I'd contacted ST to process the pin for service time.

This is Tracfone. They've been harassing me non-stop for the last week. My phone is AT&T so not sure why they won't leave me alone.

this was tracfone..i was having issue with my voicemail..and they were calling to confirm that my phone was working..yes they did'nt speak english well but it was a legit call..if you do not have tracfone then maybe for you the call was unwarranted.

also tracfone piggybacks on the att network usually so those with att might have just gotten called by accident.

This is a marketing call.  Your RIGHT!

This is a Trafone activation number, it also has a menu for other problems or services. It is located in the Philippians, thus the heavily accented speech. I have had no problems with this company and am sorry you all did. They were very polite, and knowledgeable. I guess I understood them better because I speak some spanish and there native language is a combination of Creole and Spanish combined. I called them they didn't call me.

We have received numerous calls from 11-800-867-7183' sometimes 3 per day.  We never answer any unknown calls that are not identified with a name.  If they are legit, they can leave a message, which in this case they never do.  Interestingly, all of them have come into our home phone, not our cell.  It looks like the calls are coming from some Carribbean Islands because of the "11".

It is going to be hard to sue them if you don't know who they are!

got a text saying to call to compleet transaction. i never set one up so im not calling them.

Same exactley what she told you she told me, and I told her to stop or elsse, hope I do not get any more calls from her

I answered and there was silence for a second or 2 a. Recording woman answered and started talking about tracphone minutes so I hung up realizing it was a telemarketer they called again same voice recording hung up again and then they called again so again I hung up it stopped after I blocked the number

I've asked them not to call or text me three different times now but they keep sending me texts and calling. I personally have no doubt that it is to burn up minutes. They also sent me a text to call them to "complete the transaction" when I bought more minutes last time and tried to use the promo code. I never did get the bonus minutes I was supposed to and the phone call did nothing but burn up minutes since turned out to be their regular number that has no option to "complete a transaction."  I hate this phone and the "service" that only serves the company, not their customers.
