Got a call from this number from a Venessa McPhee with an extension number and  case number and asked for my daughter by name.  Said it was a business matter.  She was pleasant enough, but she definite cannot have any legal matters w/ my daughter so I ignored it.  If anyone knows if any of this is legit, please post. Thanks LEA

Total low lifes at this place.  They call and lie.  How they get the numbers of other people I have called is unknown and illegal.  They need to use the mail if they believe they have a legit debt to collect they need to actually go to court.  There caller id is set to show only 954

Received a voice mail from a Bradley Martinez at ext. 3611 for a co-worker.  Caller ID was #954, and when I called the phone number left in the message "800.890.8738" a man answered "UCB".  I told him that I must have miss-dialed and hung up to do a little research and found this site.  If they are legit, they will just have to contact my co-worker directly.

I got a call from them today, I hung up on them and he called back and left his name Bradley Martinez and this number and said that there was a judgment against me for $7000 and court and attorney fees and they would be sending a summons to my home address.  I freaked out.  Thank God for sites like this so I know he's a crock.  Also when he called back the number showed on my ID as 945-809-3472.

I'm assuming it was a Debt Collection call, but the caller was vague in the message "Window of opportunity is getting smaller to resolve this matter" , "Please call back 1-800-890-8738 ext 63915 and reference case #------------ - so I called the number and no one answered.  The phone just rang.  I don't owe anyone.  Is this a scam, trying to get people to send money?

I received a call from caller ID 954, I ignored it, as I do all numbers I don't know.  The man who left a voice mail was Bradley Martinez.
He used my maiden name, which hasn't been used for a few years.
He said they've contacted me via mail and verbally, which is ridiculous because all my old mail goes to my parent's house and they always tell me the day they receive something that looks important and I've never received a phone call from them before today.
The number he gave was (800) 890-8738 X3611.

I am not going to call them back and I hope they don't contact my friend's and coworkers as others have mentioned.

call from "Mr. Gail" asking for my daughter who lives out of state.  I took the number to have her call.
2 minutes later he called again.  Then 2 minutes later he called on my cell phone.  I called him myself and yelled that he had no right to call my private cell phone and where did he obtain the number.  I have no intention of ever giving my daughter the message.

I received a call from (954) 236-6083, I did not answer as I have been getting weird phone calls lately from a shady collection agency when I have no over due debts.

The reason I'm reporting the number this time is because E. Solomon, when she called, said "Oh hi *my name* I received your message, in case you've forgotten my office number is 1-800-890-8738 and my extension, of course, is *extension number*."

I NEVER called this woman and I was shocked that the company is stooping so low as to act like she knew me.
The man that called from that number a month ago, said he had sent paperwork to me regarding the phone call.

I do not like being lied to.

I wonder how long I have to ignore them before they'll get the hint I'm not stupid and will not be returning their phone calls.

Our company policy is that our employess may not receive personal calls nor will we give messages to our employees.  When Mr.Vargas called about one of our employess our receptionist tried to explain to him our company policy.  He got very rude and nasty with her and demanded that she put him through to her supervisor.  When I spoke with him he implied that we were in the wrong and how nasty she was and then overtalked me when I told him that according to the LAW he wasn't supposed to be calling the employees place of employment and I told him that I was going to report them if they called again.  At which point he became nasty with me.  So I decided to not give him a chance to not call back before I reported Him

Received a call from Cornelius to return the call.  I called (because I know I have bad debts / collection items) and was directed to one of his associates.
Very nice lady.  I asked about what debt this was.  She informed me it was a credit card I had with Citi that had been charged off.  She told me the balance.  I asked about payment options / plans / settlements.  Again, she explained everything I wanted her to.

After reading all the posts here I was nervous to call back because I have dealt with some pretty nasty collection people.  But, I was pleasantly surprised at how informative and nice they were.  Maybe its because the calls just started on Saturday.  I'm sure the longer I would have waited to call back the more aggressive they become.

Now I'm just hoping to work something out with them.

They called my sister!  I'm guessing they've tried to call my mother as well.
I'm not close with my family so I feel terrible that they are being harrassed as well.
Did this place ever stop and think that maybe I'd be mroe inclined to cooperate if they didn't harrass me - calling me at work and at home every day, several times a day!!
I answered once, and the person was so horrible I swore I'd never answer again.
I give what I can, when I can.  I'm trying my best!
