This is a legitimate call, it is Xcel's credit collection area.  The reason the people at Xcel say it's not their number is because it's an outside agency contracted by Xcel and the employee you are speaking to is only looking at their internal Xcel numbers.

Robo call tried to collect money but did not have address of any home I own.  Beware!!!!

Wanna bet this is one of the many scammers that call, trying to get everyone to believe it's a legit #?

Remember, numbers and names can be spoofed in your caller ID.  It is sensible to be skeptical of calls from people representing themselves as "Third Party debt collectors".
