No message, quick hang up.

I have had the same number for over 4 years and am getting calls from (800) 900-1370. If call back the message states call back during business hours.

I have no business with this company and why can they robot call me whenever and I cannot stop the harassment.

They call for a Rosa "something" I do not now of have I ever known a Rosa.

Stop this harassment.

This number (Penn collections) is a scam. They call several times a day, with a private number. Unless you listen to the whole message, you don't know who's calling. Then they ask for someone who you don't know! You know it's a scam when they call on a Sunday!!

They also call using # 800-900-1380. Blocked both numbers. Neither leaves message.

I get almost daily calls. Today (9/9) I got TWO calls before 8:30 am.
other end of line is SILENCE. No person, no message etc.

I dont owe anyone ANYTHING. I dont KNOW anyone who is delinquent.

and if I dont pick up, it screws up answering machine. so now I pick up, do
NOT even say "Hello", and hang up immediately.

Has called my office number *repeatedly* over the past two weeks asking for someone named "Sheldon Loman" (sp?). I am not this person, and have informed them of this. When they called today I explicitly told the caller that this number had been reported online as a scam. He became *really* defensive.

I owe nothing, but receive this call every day - multiple times per day too. This is harassment and will follow-up to report to all pertinent agencies. I hope everyone else does too.

I have a usa phone number that I use to call into the usa and friends can call me.  The phone will not ring if I have not programmed the incoming number.  It's wonderful. Only comes up with the number calling me.  Been living in Central America since 2005.  Last year some time around May they started calling never a message on the system is left. And yes they call about 5 times a week and sometimes within minutes they will call 2 or 3 times.   We never answer a number we do not know.  So they can call me 500 times a day and it's no problem.  

I don't think they're a collection agency. It's some scam artist trying to make themselves sound like a collection agency to get people to send them money. They keep calling with a recorded message asking for someone I never heard of. I just hang up when they call.

I get telemarketing calls all of the time and I'm on the do not call registry. I report telemarketers but it doesn't seem to do any good.

How do you block a number on Skype?

I get calls everyday from this robot but they are asking for someone whom I don't even know.  I have absolutely NO IDEA of who's calling or why, and they want me to press certain keys, but I never do because I feel the calls will escalate.  And get this! I have my home service through the crooked AT&T service provider a crooked company whom told me it would cost me close to either $3.00 or $5.00 (can't remember which) for them to NOT print my telephone number/address in their public directory. Why is it that AT&T will charge businesses to have their telephone numbers and addresses to be printed in their public directory, then turn around and charge their other customers to NOT publish their numbers and addresses? Stupid money grubbing AT&T! It should be the other way around. PLUS, these anonymous callers many times have auto-dialer equipment that's set up to dial one number after another, in sequence, not even considering that they are randomly just calling telephone numbers and not specific people. If our government would do it's job that we pay them to do, they'd look into this matter and legislate something that would cause these people to have to pay money for what they are doing against us.

Started getting these calls today, but they leave no info. I called right back and their message said they were closed. Good luck getting me to call back. If it is debt collection, in my case, they most likely have the wrong number. If they are really looking for me and the debt is legit, they have to notify me in writing, which hasn't happened. I'll play their game and sue for violations.

Mechanized call on Saturday afternoon.  Mechanized voice says I'm severely in debt, and to avoid immediate prosecution, yadda yadda...I hung up.

After getting 6 to 8 calls daily over the past weeks we dialed the number and got a very arrogant woman - my understanding was that we asked what phone number they were calling from - I distinctly heard "from" she said she wanted my number - I told her I was almost afraid to tell her - but started to - she had already hung up - very arrogant person.

This may be a new tactic to get around blockers.  Received a call with a partial caller id (009-001-370).  Recorded message asks for somone who has never been at this residence and never had this phone number.
