every time I pick up they hang up!

I blocked their numbers yet Huddak and company still call me with other numbers.  They even Harris me at the GO Station with their chocolates etc to get my vote.

Yes the lowest form of life are exempt from the DNC list.

I don't want Mike Harris's understudy to become premier.  I'd rather have higher taxes than see Ontario go backwards.  I wonder what highway he would sell next?  Will he finish Mike's job and sell Hydro etc.

They are CONs they are exempt from the list!  

They will keep calling you everyday until you vote for them.  I voted at the advance poll for this reason (so I would not be harassed by them - yet they still call.)

An automated call does not earn my respect.  If you want my vote I want you to call me!

These telemarketers cost the Ontario PCs the election.

just got a call from Tim Hudak's office about a town hall at the CNIB.

If you create a dummy contact, then add this number to it, and set the ring tone to a silent wave file, you will never hear them call.  Add as many numbers as you like to the dummy contact... you could even call it.. DoNotCallList.  This one works against politicians, etc etc that have an exception on the government toothless do not call list.

I don't like these calls from whatever political party. Nonetheless they are trying to get their messages out and win support. You can't blame them and there are important byelections in the works and we all need to think about what needs to be changed or not changed in Ontario. A lot of unhappy things have happened. Scandals? incompetency? Deriliction of public trust? Or is everything cool?. Does the government need to change? To whom? All we have to say that matters is our vote. Don't answer the calls but look for answers.

What is good about Ontario's current government and what is beyond bad. I know what I think and I know how I will be voting. None of them are perfect but we are all responsible for what happens. Then we will have to live with it. Good luck.

I hate to tell you this, but political parties are exempt from the 'Do Not Call List'.  I don't like it, but that's the way it is.

You are correct....it's the Liberals that are for profit.  Their own.

I don't answer calls from unknown numbers. No caller ID.  Scammer-type: no voice message.  Robocalling equipment should be banned.  Users of it should be dealt with in an appropriate way; jail, or sent back to where they came from.  Prior castration optional.  :-)))

BUT political parties are free legally (DNC list) to call whenever they want, so with an election coming up, one can have some fun!  Remember what happened with poll accuracy in the last U.S. presidential election?  Pollsters were wrong!  People who were called simply did not choose to provide valid information on their voting intentions.  Neat, eh?

SO  if you want some fun, answer the damned phone.  Tell them you're going to vote for a different party, and they'll probably leave you alone forever!  Or, if you like to get phone calls from machines, tell them that you plan to vote from them!  You'll probably get all sorts of "reminders", etc.

Contact call from the Progressive Conservative Party. Since today's date is April 19,2018, I can only guess that they want votes for Doug Ford of Toronto. Regardless if they have the right to be exempt from the National Do Not Call List, These types of calls are annoying.
