I keep receiving annoying calls (several times a week) from this company. Often no one speaks when I answer. I've asked to to be contacted by them. However, they continue to call.

Calls to my cell phone several times a day.  I don't answer they usually don't leave messages but have once or twice for payday advance loan offers.  Thanks to whoever posted the web complaint address for them.  I sent them a cease and desist.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed, I'll sic my brother, the attorney, on them next if I have to.  :)

Received two calls back to back within 5 minutes of each other. I picked the handset up the first time and put it back down without speaking. The second time I decided to play a game. I answered in a high-pitched voice sounding like a deaf elderly woman. I repeated hello a couple of times for effect. The young man asked for Roland Webster and I advised him he had the wrong number. He thanked me and hung up. Now, I just have to wait and see if the calls stop or continue only this time for someone else. I have no outstanding debts past or present and pay all of my bills on time. And most of the time, in full.

I have been getting calls from this number around 3 times a day, at all times of the day (anytime between 8am-9pm!!) for the last 2 weeks, and they haven't once left a message. My cell phone woke me up this morning and I was pissed so I decided to look this number up online, and sure enough, I found this site.
Aside from all that, I've been getting several calls from an Unknown number (which started calling me around the same time) which I assume is the same people). There is no reason these people should be calling me and I really don't feel like dealing with them (if this is capital one, I am in excellent standing with them, there is no reason I should owe anything extra).
If it's important, they should leave a message explaining who they are and why they are calling, and then people can call back when it's convenient for them.

Well I'm done with these guys being rude they keep calling for my brother. Im in NC and he's in IND. And My brother does not know my number to give out.
I asked to be removed from the list but they still keep calling and getting rude to me so next time the caller starts giving me a hard time I have one of those air horns on standby to blow their eardrums way.

They have called for the past week - sometimes when I actually answer (because I usually don't if its a number I don't know) and I get the automated "please hold for an important message" about 8 times (or so)and then it disconnects.  

We don't owe anything as far as we know but we do have a brother with some debts.  

So it's just a harrassing call.

They are a collection agency for Capitol One. They were calling me in reference to a relatives debt. They are relentless, and they have the right to call you in reference to a relatives debt if the believe you know how to get in contact with that person. The tactic is to harrass you to get you to either give that person up, or for you to get frustrated and start harrassing that person to get them to pay the debt so you will stop getting these calls. You should do the following:

1. Never acknowlege that you know the person they are calling about.
2. Send a Cease and Desist letter to them (do a google search for sample Cease and Desist letters).
3. State in the letter that you are not the person they are looking for and have no knowlege of the person they are looking for.
4. Send the letter Certified Return Receipt.

These people are like the Terminator. The cannot be reasoned with. They have no sympathy. They never rest. They never give up. The Cease and Desist letter is the only way to stop the calls.

Keeps Calling randomly, nobody at other end of the line, makes me angry!!!!

I just got a call from that number and I am still laughing.  The woman who called me spoke like she was raised in a bad part of town and finished maybe teh 3rd grade.  Getting past the very poor sentence structure was bad enough, but the slang and the ebonic uses of words made me hang up.  Even if this was a real call, no one would ever take this lady seriously as she sounded like a complete idiot.

i reported them to the National Do Not Call Registry.

sence my phone is on the do not call list.

They call, i pick up, nobady answers!

They have called several times today using their robo/auto dialers and each time it hangs up when voicemail kicks in and never leave message who/what they are calling about.
