I had these people call me and ask for my husband.  When I told him that he wasnt there he began to tell me that we had an outstanding debit with a car finance company.  He told me it was from 8 yrs ago.  I told him the only car we had taken was settled in an agreement with the finance company.  He told me that this was on my husband credit report and that if there was a settlement it was not showing and they werent going to investigate it, that it is was my problem.  We have pulled our credit report and there is nothing of what this man was saying showing on our credit report.  I had to hang up on him because he was yelling at me and telling me that I better take care of this or else.  Be aware that this is illegal to threaten anybody and to also lie about someones credit report or to dicuss it with anybody but the person who owes the debt.  My husband and I have made it our personal pet to look up the laws concerning debt collectors and what their boundries are.  You have rights.  Take time to google and find out what your rights are.  There are 3-4 steps in stopping this kind of illegal behavior.  DONT TAKE IT.  GO AFTER THEM.

They are hoping that someone gives in and gives them money.  They have quotas to make I'm sure.

I am only 22 and have no debt. They call me everyday. Twice a day, back-to-back. When I answer, there is a recording saying "please wait" "please wait". No one is going to wait. When I call back, there is a dead tone. You'd think after about a month of this, they would STOP calling me. Just got the third call within the last 30 minutes while writing this! You've got to be kidding me.

Early Morning calls; Late evening Calls; all throughout the day...Auto-generated calling machines that leave a one-way message that I'd BETTER call them back RIGHT AWAY...when I'm a WRONG NUMBER ...I've called them back OVER and OVER and told them they had the WRONG NUMBER...ALL to No Avail...either they're STUPID or just INCOMPETENT...not a Great Choice there...So to WHICH AGENCY should this Be Reported to make them CEASE and DESIST when it's really NONE of THEIR Business WHO I AM or WHAT MY NUMBER IS or ANY OTHER INFORMATION since I'm not the Person they Say they're looking for and I've NEVER had any Business dealings with them (credit or otherwise)...I'm not interchangeable with whomever it is they're looking for and they WON'T ACCEPT CORRECTION!!! Help.

They called twice before noon today. I remember when I first got my phone (some three years ago), I had debt collectors calling me, but looking for someone else. I called them back, told them its not me they're looking for, and told them to take my number off the list. Pretty much since then I haven't gotten anymore calls until this company started. Well, we'll see if they'll leave any messages and then I'll take appropriate action from there.

I am a previous employee of mrsassociates and everyone that has wrote on here is correct they are a horrible debt collection agency that have supposedly purchased old debts. They talk to people like dogs and threaten then well i hope none of you are worried and if you are dont be everything they say or do is basically a ''scare tactic'' they know they cant force anyone to actually pay so they threaten them instead now i didnt work for this company very long and before i did i never even heard of them or there reputation but i was unemployed for awhile and had my resume listed online and got a horrible a call one day had an interview and got the job we went through about two weeks of training which was nothing compared to when we were actually on the phones calling people i watched and listened to so many of my co workers call and when they actually got them on the phone just berate them like dogs it was disgusting well after about a week i was ''let go'' from the company and they wouldnt tell me why so i got there [***] for unemployment and was happy to not be working there any longer and now i no longer work in collections you cant treat people like dogs but telling them not to call you anymore wont do much they have a system to where they can get a hold of your neighbors even to get contact info on you its insane but its true

These A**H***s call all hours, EVERYDAY of the WEEk and I'm NOT even the person they're looking for...TRY getting THAT message ACROSS...the AUTOMATED Harrassing calls, the IGNORANCE of the persons you speak with when you BOTHER to call back...they're PROMISES to take care of removing your number and the RE-ONSLAUGHT of their HARASSEMENT...YES!  We have a FEDERAL AGENCY...PUT PEN TO PAPER AND WRITE the FTC.  PAY FOR THE STAMP...LET'S GET THIS RESOLVED PEOPLE.  THIS IS STILL AMERICA AND MAYBE One Voice isn't heard but consistant REGULAR Bombardment Will Be Heard and Will Get Attention Paid...NEW DAY in the WhiteHouse...Let's Write! Just called the Federal Trade Commission and filed a COMPLAINT against the MRS Collection Agency...spoke with OLIVIA: she advised the MORE COMPLAINTS THEY get the more likely they are to take ACTION.  CALL THE FTC at : 1-877-382-4357.  She also advised to call the Consumer protection/Attorney General for my state.  YOU CAN MAKE THIS STOP.  PICK UP YOUR PHONE/ WRITE a LETTER. As noted in the CONSTITUTION of these United States, "We the people..."

WRITE THEM AND DEMAND THEY STOP CALLING AND DO NOT CONTACT YOU. ASK FOR DELIVERY CONFIRMATION...:

I keep getting calls on my cell# EVERYDAY!!! I wait for the call to leave me a messege on the voicemail and NOTHING!!! Not even a name. So today I GOOGLED the # from my cell phone list and this is what came up. APPARENTLY my name has been used by other persons, because last month I did a "credit report" on MY BIRTH NAME, and it showed that I have bought 6 NEW CARS in the last 7 years( I have NEVER OWNED nor PURCHASED a new car in my entire life!), PLUS that I have 3 HOMES, which I have NEVER OWNED EITHER!, so my name has been used for these purchases and apparently have gone into default and now I AM the one who is getting these calls. HOW this company got MY CELL # is beyond me, but PLEASE have them "cease and deceast" these calls. I HAVE contacted the 3 credit agencies that gave me this information and told them I did not know WHO
bought these purchases , but that they DO NOT belong to me, to have them taken off MY NAME. They gave instructions on what is needed from me and I have done so, but these calls KEEP COMING. I WANT THEM ALL STOPPED, PLEASE!

This "company" calls me every single day. Now, I set up a ringer on my phone from the Geico commercial with the movie guy. How about the Geico commercial with the pancake syrup?

And they even work on Independence Day, Sundays too?! Wow!

"Jerranese" from MRS has called everyone I know trying to find me under my maiden name, which I haven't used in over 14 years!!  When I attempt to contact them, there is no answer.  How does one stop this???

Call from 505-349-8249, message that ws left had call back 800-932-5786.  Name of company different than last time they called, reported to State Attorney General Office.  Now can contact State Attorney General Office again, and let them know they have called again after stop calling request was sent to them by Attorney General.
