Central Hudson posted on their facebook page in July of 2013 that this is a fraudulent number claiming to be from central hudson.

It is Central Hudson. They did not leave me a msg either. So i msgd Central Hudson on fb to ask if was a legit number or fraudulent. They got back to me in about an hour. It is a real number, reminding me that a payment was due. So it is okay to call this number back and find out why they are calling. Hope this helps!

Called 2 straight times left no message

they keep calling my cell every day about 4 times a day.they leave no message and if central Hudson calls they leave a message

This number left a voice mail with a urgent  message to someone named Daniel Murphy about the status of his account, the problem that you can plainly see is I'm not Daniel and I've told just about anyone who has my number that it's the wrong number and that they should delete it if they call or message me.

If this is Central Hudson, then why did I get a call to a brand new cell phone number, and I don't even have any business relations with Central Hudson. I agree with the one above who says that the scam includes tell you its legit. Do we know that the Facebook site is legit, or is that also a set-up?

One more thing: I googled the phone number. There are gobs of complaints in different venues about this phone number.

Feels like a scam to get your credit card  number

I get several calls a day from this number too. It starts leaving a message but after a few seconds it cuts off. Saying they are Central Hudson. Not the voice of who usually calls when it is them.

No message left keeps calling

This number called twice today and left no message. I don't even have Central Hudson if that's who they are saying they are. Sounds sketchy to me.
