I pay my bills. I have no business with Wells Fargo. I have had my cell number for over a year. I started getting these calls a couple of months ago. The first voice mail they left asking someone else to call them back. I called them and explained that the person they were tryin to reach is not at this number. He apologized and said he would note the incorrect number for their customer. Well, I'm still getting 2-5 calls a day.  I wish WFF would check THEIR records more carefully!

The nice thing about this company is you can be sure that if you forget to set your alarm clock, you won't be late for work, why? Because they will sure as hell make sure your up with there non-stop call's, it's like hitting snooze if you don't get up the first time. And I'm curious about the Sunday call's to, who can we contact to stop this, there should be "one" day where we can all rest without debt collectors, sales people or anyone else besides family calling us on Sunday.  As far as Wells Fargo this isn't even my account I'm helping my daughter who is just 20 and gotten herself a little above her head, so I try to explain there not the only ones she owes and were doing the very best we can to get all of her debts paid, I cancelled her card for good and so I set up an arrangement and go on about all of this for about 45 mintes deal set right? NOPE,,the next call comes in at least the next day, I'm at first thinking I've lost my mind, and finally asked, do you have notes in your computer? and they say yes but until we get the payment your going to still get the call's I was so mad, I said I don't understand what kind of business conduct's itself this way, if you think about it the amount of money your spending on long distance call's daily just to go over the same things again and again, you could pay off my daughters account by lunch time, wich her account is not even that big, I mean I wouldn't say that to her and I'm trying to instill some morals into her yet but she is 20 yrs old, but she owe's them 1,200 dollars and had a credit limit of at least 7,000 ya know? I only mention that to show what kind of character she has, she didn't go on some wild spending spree's this is her visa she owe's the same on her Master Card, but Master Card does not well so far do any harrassing like this at all, **I even joked to these people at Wells Fargo that if Bin Laden would have had a Visa Card they would have had no problem finding him by now** I swear they can track down ANYBODY!!!!!

To poster, "Why Annoyed"  I don't have any problems with my bills or paying on time and I am still receiving about 10 phone calls a day (for about the past 2 weeks) with no message left.  They called my phone at 7 a.m. on a Sunday.  This is insane.

You can stop the calls by putting in writing not to call you at home or at work.  They are to contact you by mail only.   It's the law!

I got this call on Christmas Eve from W.F., since they tacked on their interest and it went over the limit, they wanted me to pay that day even though my bill was already paid at the start of the month and not due for 2 1/2 more weeks. I told them they would get their payment on the first of the month AS ALWAYS and to not call again. Twice this morning already I got a call from the 800 number. (Like I might forget tomorrow is the 1st or something.) I didn't bother to answer this time so they called again. I'm sorry, but I always pay my bills, since it was Christmas, I have another credit card that went over the limit when they compounded their interest, not a phone call, not a mean letter, nothing. Just my standard bill, with a 'amt due' payment that is less than the overage. Capital One, of course. I will be paying off my W.F. account in Feb. and closing the account happily! I don't wish to be hassled when my account is always paid on time, because I went over my limit. I mean, bill me, and WAIT like everyone else does!

Until I googled the number, I did not know who has been calling me 2x per hour for the last few weeks. 3 of the calls were after 9:00 p.m. which is not legal in my state. I pay for caller ID for a reason, I do not want to be bothered by someone who does not want you to know who they are.  To me, this is sneaky and a possibility that someone is trying to defraud you.  In my case, I have been a Wells Fargo customer for over 20 years.  For the last 10 years, they have constantly sent me unsolicited checks for between  $1000-$2000 - i.e. a "loan" or whatever you want to call it.  A few years ago I took them up on it when they sent 2 overlapping checks.  They freaked because they did not intend to send 2 of them- Then they called me trying to get my social & personal history-very demanding and harrassing.  I refused, but paid the "loan" off and on time.  Well, the same thing happened just a couple of weeks ago.  So I guess I now know what is going on.  In light of the recent scandal with Wells Fargo & the bailout it is really irritating to be treated this way - why don't they remove the block on their name and/or leave a message?  I'm sure calling 20 times a day is not illegal, but it sure looks and sounds like stalking!

I work a night shift, nothing is more fun than being called by wells fargo 2 hours after you finally fall asleep for every half hour. I do no business with them. No loans, no cards, no accounts. They just call my house looking for someone else.

Have received 64 calls from this number in 10 days on my cell.  I can't always answer my cell because I am working.  They never leave a message, just keep calling, some times 3 or 4 times within a couple of hours.

Wells Fargo Financial...calls several times a day from different phone numbers including this one and (800) 451-9849. Usually a robocall voice, sometimes a person leaving a message, sometimes no message at all. I've put them all into my cell phone call reject.

Calls at least 10 times a day.  I've been unemployed since Aug of '08.  I was paying my bills on time until March when all of the money ran out.  They ask very personal questions and I've even tried to speak with a supervisor to get them to stop calling.  I don't have money to buy food let alone pay a credit card bill.  I sent a letter according to the FDCPA telling them to stop calling me.  I advise everyone to do this if they are experiencing problems with their creditors.  We do have rights and that includes not being harassed.  Do a google search and they have templates that can be customized and sent to creditor.

I have an account with Wells Fargo and am always current.  However, we get calls from this number and numerous others on a regular basis trying to sell us more credit.  They even call my husband at work and when he asks them to stop they only step it up and call more.  They even told him in one conversation to F*** off as they will keep calling us like it or not.  We blocked their numbers at home and some how they found our cell phone numbers and we have NEVER given out our cell phone numbers.  We tell them we are not interested and they don't take no for an answer.  We will NEVER do business with this company again...they are dirty and sell your name to others.  So to the people who say to pay your bills on time...we do that, and they still call and try to sell us more loans.  Keeping current on your credit card does NOT stop these people.  There has to be something honest people can do to stop this type of behavior on the behalf of banks and companies like them.
