got the same call on friday. anyone know who we can call to report this? I would think that any legitimate call or collection agency should leave who they are and not leave a child's name. this is alarming.

Yes, it's a medical collection agency - collecting a hospital bill. I've received calls from them for claim balances as low as $1.57.  The reason why they mention your child's name is because that's who was treated by the hospital.

We try and help patients pay off they're balances in any way we can .. whether it's getting ur insurance info..payment plans .. or helping u with government assistance ..
And who cares if the person has an accent... that sounds so racist .. we have bi-lingual ppl here who can help someone who speaks Spanish ..

And we never ever leave only a child's name.... We also say this message is for the parents of (child's name)..
The only time a worker of ours would say a child's name..is when they are in training and aren't used to looking at the DOB..

Just got a call from them looking for the parents of Baby ***** and a file #. No idea what they want. I have 2 insurances and everything it paid in full. I could barely hear the woman on the machine and when I called the number back to see who it was I could barely hear the woman who answered the phone. My opinion, if I owe money then send me a bill in the mail.

I forgot to mention, the woman on the answering machine gave the wrong phone number so I had to look on my caller ID.

This is not a scam...  The reason no info is disclosed on messages is because by healthcare regulations no info can be released until the proper person is identified which is the purpose for the "personal" questions... They are contracted by the hospitals to obtain insurance and or set up pymnt arrangements  Not a collection agency

This is a collection agency for hospitals and doctors.  I finally got through to them.  They were halfway decent, asking for someone I used to date who used my phone information.  They were respectable and didn't harass me.

Got several missed calls from this number.  It comes up as '800 Service'.  Finally left a message and said they had a business matter to talk to me about and named a hospital I've been to about 4 months ago.  No hospitals leave messages about 'business matters.'  It's got to be a fishing company. All my bills are paid!

It does not "help" anyone, I proved I paid with a letter from the bank, statement from bank and finally actual visa routing number.  they call 5 times a day failed to cease upon request failed to validate the debt.  I will have to sue them.  any response apollo?  Please?  Give me your ext.

Just got a call from Jeanes Hospital and they asked for this Esen Martin. I told them they had the wrong fickung number and clicked them off.

This number is Apollo Health Street which is a collection agency for hospitals.

Got a call today from this number and I didn't answer.  They did leave a message about a family members hospital bill from 8/10.  The thing is, the bill is already paid.  Maybe they and the hospital should update their accounts so people that pay their bills on time are not harassed by unwanted phone calls.  I will be blocking this number so I don't have to listen to their recorded spiel.  Also, to the poster named Dale...no wonder you have the position of telemarketer, you don't have to work in public and no one else will give you a job with that spelling and attitude.  And "dats" the truth!

I work for this company, and unfortunately  i have to agree that most people are very rude to patients...It is the most unprofessional place i've ever worked for, unfortunately i need the job and i have to put up with a bunch of ghetto people, who are so ignorant....i feel bad for all of the "patients" that are harrassed by "us"....Not even management knows what they are doing....

Its a type of a collection agency for Medical (hospital) bills you haven't paid.  You may not have been to the hospital in a while but its probably an old account you didn't pay... pay your bill they won't call anymore

ROBO-CALL -- We received a call from this number on 1/18/2012; the message started with "Hello, we have an important message" at which point we hung up and reported it to the National Do Not Call Registry.
