No messages on here since 1st April, so you didn't come across your number by accident.  You went to the trouble of putting your company's number in a nuisance call site to see what came up?  You then responded to a message left in October last year.  The joke is that you completedly ignored all the other negative posts. Can  we therefore assume that, even if "Gail" used a fake name all the other people reporting what a con and a rip off this company is are telling the truth?

I truly believe this is a scam. You will first get a call with a promotional telling you there is no commitment until you review the web design. You are asked if its ok for Pageside to send you the web design. You think it is just a matter of reviewing the design except that the email has a 30 days expiration for you to respond.

Then, the email with a 30 days deadline contains a generic template with absolutely no input from the customer. But, If you do not respond, they will then send you an invoice charging over $500 for a generic template web design. It does not matter that you never open the email or that they never talked to you about your business.

There is no follow-up from pageside after the initial promotional call to see if you received the generic template. There is no real business interest in designing the web side. The idea is to sit and wait for the 30 days to expire for Pageside to send the invoice.

In my case, Pageside claims they sent me the website design by email. After the email, which I never open because it was caught on the scam file, Pageside sent the invoice and began to call me stating I have an outstanding invoice. When I called them, the response was that I owe them because the 30 days expire.

Most importantly, the generic web design was sent by email without talking to me about my business. I am the sole proprietor and no one else is involved in the business. This shows PageSide has zero interest in designing the web site. This is about waiting for the 30 days to expire for them to collect the money.

Also, beware, they are located in Canada and thus, it may be difficult even to investigate or prosecute them.

A quick search in the internet shows that I am not the only person who believes this is a scam. We should ALL refer this matter to the Attorney General.
