Been getting these calls frequently. Weird stuff. Thanks to this website, I'm going to warn my MIL and contact Sen. Orin Hatch until he responds.

This number calls me at least 4 times a day. I try calling it back, and it always says disconnected or no longer in service. Funny thing it is open to call me again  and again, They have gone as far as leaving messages on my voicemail telling me that if i didnt switch to them within the next 5 bus days that my service will be D/C'd. I am with AT&T. They know nothing about this either. Calling again TOIGHT to let them know what is going on. Kevin

person asked for me, i asked who was calling and she starting with her speech god knows what it was about...when i spoke louder "WHO IS CALLING, THIS IS NOT the person your looking for" she hung up on me...

I got a call from them. The guy cursed me out, and hung up onme. I was a bit funny with him. He didn't like it. He said he was going to rape my cat. He then called me from a Casper, WY number just to tell me to go to hell. Weird.

They just called me I swear the lady was japanese! they said they opened a new store in conroe and they'd pay me to visit. i just hung up i mean speak english or spanish so i can understand you right ?

I couldn't understand a dang thing they said.  Something about a free vacation.  They called me after 9pm which really upset me given I have little ones.

These clowns call our office at least 3 to 4 times a day, all week. I've told them that we have an AT&T rep., so please stop calling.  The guy gets mad and says "Who is your rep?" and yells, "He is not doing his job, pay your bill!" Then hangs up, abruptly. Freakin" Idiot!

I receive calls from this number at my place of business all of the time.  They never would say anything when I answered.  Finally, I decided that they probably wouldn't answer me because I was a business.  The next time they called, instead of my greeting I just said "hello".  Low and behold, they were from AT&T, I had read these reports, so I didn't even let them finish; asked them to remove me from the list.  After arguments, they agreed... calls stopped for a while.  Received another call, today.  Told them that I would report them, because I was on their "do not call list".  The guy threatened me, saying "Now you have a real problem and that is NOT something you want to hear."  I got his name, location and Employee ID#.  (Ronald Martin.  Hollandale, FL.  BLUE112881).  This is all BS, of course:

a.  Ronald Martin is not a name that you usually get for someone with a middle-eastern accent.
b.  The phone number was from Provo, UT
c.  Since when did any ligitimate company give Employee IDs based on a color and birth date?

I received a call from Casper, WY.... TOO!  1-307-215-0009.

I have called the Federal Trade Commission:  1-877-FTC-HELP (1-877-382-4357).

They said that they need people to call and report these incidents, so that they can begin an investigation that will lead to prosecution.

I urge anyone who keeps getting these calls to do so.  I got in touch with someone at the FTC in less than a minute... no wait!

I am not a petty type person, but I don't think it is right that these people can keep calling American consumers and threatening their lives and businesses when they don't agree to give them info.

just got a call and got in a huge fight with them, figured they were a scam but they're very dangerous!

even though I told them to take me off there call list every night they call and every night they hang up on me when i ask to talk to there boss or ask them to take me off there call list. I'm going to look into pressing charges.

Recd call from Christina Brown AT&T employee Badge #2022, with the Upgrades Department.  When I asked if she was acutally an AT&T employee or did she work for a company that contracted with AT&T.  She started with hello, hello can you hear me??? and then hung up.  If you call At&T no employee or department.  Beaware, only recourse is to file a nunice complaint with FTC.  Get names, and as much information as you can.  Together we can shut these people down.  No one else is going to do it.  Unless of course they call a US Senators private home...haaaaaaaaaaa!
