I finally answered this call again.  The woman with an Indian sounding accent identified her company as Education Verifications.  Hers is the second call I took.  They both asked me if I could go back to school, when would I go.  I just told them I wasn't interested in returning to school.  Hopefully this will be the end of it.

Got several calls form this number, I do not answer. Where is the area code?

it seems as though we all get called by this mysterious number however with all the different descriptions of who it might be, it appears to me that its a scam however you look at it.

The caller ID says Orem, UT.  Calls come in from this number numerous times a day at all hours.  they do not leave a message.

I just received a call from this number. When I attempted to call back there was a message that this number is not a working number.  30 seconds later, come on!

They called 3 times so far haven't answered but they leave a msg sayin is this (my name) and then the msg starts to say I'm Cristian Camp...... and then the msg stops. I'm not trying to be stereotypical but the guy sounds Mexican or Latin n sounded like the last name was Campos.... N the same thing happened wen I called back I got nuthin but a recording that said number no longer in serviceI think it's a prank application for someone's phone I don't fill ne thing out online with my actual info so idk how they got my # let alone kno my first n last name I have PPL SEARCH N I DO SKIP TRACING so once I find out more about these PPL N THE SCAMS THEY PULLIN best believe they gonna b thinkin we [***] with the wrong person this time

please stop this number 801-2292252 from calling if they are spammer i wish they stop i refuse to call back i been getting them all the time yes be careful with your number i thought we have block on our phone but they still try

They call and call, never saying a thing. My number is suppose to be blocked from bogus numbers. I guess they are finding ways to get around it. Please help with these annoying people.

This number calls me at least once a day...never leaves a vm. I think its an auto-dialer.

Theyve called me 4 times everytime I answer it's silence then I call back and get a fast busy signal :/ very annoying

Started getting calls from this number on April 21, 2011.   My caller id says it is from Provo, UT and I don't know anyone from that state.   They didn't leave a message and I won't answer the phone for any number I don't know.  I am also on the Federal Do Not Call list and I also have an unpublished, Unlisted number so have no idea how they got the number.

I wish that phone number 801-229-2252 would stop calling. I am tired of thes phone calls.
They are irritating. I receive many calls. How do I get them to stop?

Just got a call from 801-229-2252 as and a person does come on after a while It seems to come from Orem, Utah but I don't know what it is.  I hang up.  I dialed back and an operator comes on telling me this number is not in service.  How can that be.  I don't understand why this happens or how.  Isn't there a way these nusances can be gotten rid of.

I too have been harassed by these people- even though I have my numbers on the national Do not call registry- how do they get around it? I am dealing with three elderly relatives with health issues and when these calls come in the very early morning or late at night it is startling to get- then to find out that it is this annoying telephone number.. it makes me what to reach through the phone and do some bodily harm to someone

I have been getting these same calls for about a week.  The first was a live voice...very heavy Indian accent...saying they were from Education Verification Services.  I hung up.  Now I get calls that just hang up with no more response.

My advice in handling these is 2-fold.  If you are on the DNC list with the FTC register an online complaint with them.  The second step is to file an online complaint with the FCC.  They are prohibited by law to use automated attendants that hold lines hostage, that do not connect you with a live person, in some cases the use of the automated attendant is illegal period.  They are also required by Federal law to release your phone line after 5 seconds.  Because they are a business they are also required by Federal law to identify a WORKING telephone number AND the ligitimate name of their business.  If they do not do these things, they are in violation.  Whenever I get calls from them now, I just file complaints with both locations.  Interestingly enough, with most cases after a few complaints, I usually get the calling to stop.

I have been getting these calls for some time now, and when I do pick up and when there is someone on the other end they ask for my wife by name. (I have been getting the same calls from a Chicago, IL number too.) When I ask what it is regarding, they say my wife has requested information about how to get a college degree and that they are calling from "Education Verification Services". I've asked my wife if she has, and of course she hasn't since she already has both a bachelors degree and a doctors degree in different fields. We are both on the D-N-C list and have an unlisted number, and I have asked this company twice now to put us on their do not call list.

Okay, the number calls us every day and our Comcast color ID says: Orem                         UT
No voicemails where ever left, we are on the do-not-call-us list.
