same stupid cash register noise than spnish nonsense. just got the call..

I've gotten several calls, no of which I've answered. Messages were never left with me. I'd been registered with www.donotcall.gov for several months before these calls.

Ditto,....someone just called me from this phone number (801-410-1098) and started talking to me in Spanish, saying something about winning some money.
I just said "No gracias." and hung up.

Saw it as a missed call. It's probably one of those auto dialers that calls every number regardless of its a cell. Illegal much?

This number dialed my cell phone.  It registered as a missed call.  I found this site when I was searching online to find the probable origin of the call.  Thanks to everyone who posts.  I did the right thing to ignore the call.

Series of extremely loud crashing noises, then pre-recorded call in Spanish with female speaker ... to my business cell phone.

Urge everyone to file complaint with National Do Not Call Registry and get these parasites shut down.

They got me too. They should be prosecuted for grand theft of cell phone minutes.

Sounded like a cash register then a message in Spanish. I speak a little spanish, I heard press 1, so I did. It said "fantastico!" then started ringing. I hung up, then called the number back and it said it was a travel related call and they'd contact me shortly or press 2 to be removed from their list, I did nothing and it said "you've made an invalid entry" then asked me to enter my phone number, so I did and it said that they'll remove my number. I didn't even press 2. hmmm

I live in DC, and i saw a UTAH area code so i looked up the number to see what would come up.

heard that "do not call list" is only enforceable for telemarketers calling within the US and Canada? if so, you can count on foreign telemarketers getting hold of the "sacred" list and call Americans and Canadians - who don't want to be called - with impunity...

This number calls all the time and its a recording in Spanish.  It states it comes from UT.  Ignore these calls its phone spam
