received a call from this number, but didn't get to the phone in time to answer; they hung up after 3 rings.  The caller ID says Juan Amoros Age...what the heck is this?  I haven't a clue, but also am not going to answer it.  Reading the above comments...sounds like just another scam.

I have received three calls from this number in the past two days. My phone said Salt Lake City, UT. I live in Pennsylvania, so I don't understand why they're calling me. They didn't leave me a message, so I'm going to block their number.

so they called me and I knew it was a bogus number, they asked for me and I said they had the wrong number, they Indian guy yelled "F*CK YOU" and hung up on me ...smh

I am sick of receiving these calls. PLEASE STOP!

Just called me and tried to tell me they wanted to help clear some malware off my computer. That he could see everything I was doing. I was like ok so what is it? He said well just everything. Ok like what? if you are seeing it tell me what it is? He couldn't, and  then asked me stupid questions like what do I see on my screen,(before we did anything) what is on my keyboard besides the ctrl key? wow really, Ok,  I will bite. I see a function key, the letters Z, X, A etc....  He didn't like that. I finally started laughing and was like listen dude why don't you just cut right to it and tell me what it is you want and want me to do or tell you, I'm not stupid and I don't appreciate you thinking I am and if we are going to talk you better just spit it all out. What are you trying to do? He got mad and swore at me and I think called me an A**hole, referenced one or something and hung up. NICE!

I immediately asked what company it was and he just said he was in Texas. They handle windows issues on computers. Well that's amazing since when I look up number it says Utah. Plus I tried to call it back to see what happened and I got  recorded message that the number I was trying to call was disconnected. Total scam. Just another number to add to my blocked calls list! I'm sure they have a huge book of companies they "represent". I don't need a call from any of them.

Automated female voice claimed to be with Bank Of America. Notifying me that my debit card had been locked and I must press 1 to be transferred to the card security department.
I do not have a B of A debit (or credit) card. I do not and have not had an account with B of A.  Telephone call is not from Bank Of America number.

Just got a call from this number out of Salt Lake City, Utah. I live in Columbus, Oh. It was an automated female voice saying they were with some credit card company (sounded like NexGen? no idea) and my card has been locked for out of state transactions and that I needed to press "1" to be transferred to the security department to enable my card to be used out of state.Confused, so I pressed "1" and they said I needed to have my debit card number ready. That's when I hung up. Ain't no way in hell I am giving a random automated voice my credit/debit card number.  Be AWARE!

Got this call on a cell phone at 3:30 a.m.  reported needing credit card info within 4 hrs.  Ignore this number and give no info!!

I got a voicemail from this number saying something about card activation.  I immediately called back from a work phone & got a message saying the number has been disconnected & not in service.

Called and left voicemail on my cell about needing a credit card activation. Scammer everywhere!

Call at 3:45 am with automated female voice stating my Wells Fargo card had been locked. I do not have a Wells Fargo anything. These have been going on since the 12th (not with me, just on this board). Im sure that with recent events, whoever this is is trying to take advantage of people that might be scared.

Got this call at 4 a.m. this morning stating that my Wells Fargo credit card had been stolen. Since I do not have one I hung up on them. Wish there was some way to get even with this slime.

Just called from Utah and left a message and it said "please press one to visit our 24/7 card activation services"

Just received a call on my cell with a recorded message saying something about my debit card being deactivated and to "press 1" to take care of this issue. I hung up right away, sounds super-fishy!!

This 801-961-9999 number first called my husband's phone our phone company has had 110 harassment complaints so it showed up as harassment call lol. So he didn't answer. 2 hrs later I get the same call. My mother worked as a telemarketer so I know better I just ignored and blocked then searched online. Sounds scamish to me. So thank you to sites that let us comment on phone numbers like this one.

Both my wife and I received calls from this CC activation scam. The timing seemed to match the time needed to get if they were just going number by number.

Received a call from 801-961-9999, never leaves msg.

Call from this number went to voicemail and message left was 'To make your prepaid debt card shopping convenient and secure, call our security department or simply press 1 now and you will be transferred to our 24/7 card activation service.'  I called the number back and it is no longer in service, changed or disconnected.
