Got a call from a number in Vermont this time.  Previously the number originated in Virginia.  Since I've never been to either of these states I knew it was a scam.  They also called my mother's house even though I've not lived there in over a decade.  They didn't provide anything but a case number.  If their threats were real, they would have served me papers two months ago.

I'm not going to call them back as I don't even want them to think that they are getting me upset.

This has happened twice now. First robo call from Virginia, now Vermont. I have sparkling Credit Report, newly checked, so this is indeed a scam. I put a block on both numbers immediately. I'm sure these people sell lists to each other. Same schtick. Scammers are vile little creatures.

They also call from an 804 #.  Been calling me every day for about 2 months!  Same time in the afternoon. How do you stop this???  I have them sent straight to voice mail, but geeez!!!
