I get calls from this # every month.  My AT&T bill is due on the 12th and late after the 21st.  I always pay it online before it is late.  I start getting calls from this # on the 12Th of the month and they do not quit until I pay my bill.  I just don't answer the phone.  I know I am going to pay the bill before it's late.  I just wonder why AT&T spends so much money trying to collect on bills that aren't late yet.  I would cancel my service with AT&T but my DSL is with them and it is the only high speed I can get where I live.  They are the most hateful people I have ever had to deal with!!!

My guess is that it is a relay from an Indian call center.  My AT&T payment was late because I've been traveling for the past few months.

I guess, from the code that was said on the end of one of the calls that I recieved was: alltel 84b
To me that says the carrier of the offending calls is alltel wireless...going to email them today...see what happens...

This number belongs to the "OLD AT&T." (not the new AT&T) It is a collections call for long distance service. After 2 hours of being passed from one person to an other I finally got to a supervisor who admited that the calls from this number was from the "OLD AT&T". The calls I recieved (5 times a day) were hangs ups,or asking for my father that passed away 9 years ago. They did not identify them selves as calling from AT&T.  If you would like to speak to the supervisor, call 1-800-222-0300 and ask for supervisor Subrina.

I am writing this comment just to state that this number keeps calling me as AT&T as well for a Chris Bowman. I don't even know who the hell that is and the person on the phone continues to call. I hung up with them and called ATT and they had me call like 7 different phone numbers and I never did get to talk to ANYONE that knew anything about it... INCLUDING their collections agency knew nothing of the number. I have since then reported it to the FCC as fraudulent. The people at ATT and the collections agency however didn't seem concerned that their name was being used in the nature of collection calls... hmmm

Now I am getting calls from this number, I am not answering them, they quit in 3 to 4 rings. I see by looking the number up it got to be a scam so I never going to answer it. I wish we could get these scammers and have a public hanging, just sick of scammers! They suck!

My house is getting calls from this number too.  I have Vonage and can see every instance where they have called.  If it truly is AT&T, they should be investigated by the FCC.  I have experienced all of the above, multiple calls per day, being hung up on, etc.

We found out about this scam,If you get any calls from this liar call B.B.B of u.s.a.,There is a lawsuit pending,against harrassing people..............

i recieved a call on my phone 803-308-7402. att has been calling me i switched services and im not sure if its the real AT&T or not but i barely gave them a chance to talk. my number is unlisted so how the hell are they even getting my number anyways theres got to be a way there getting peoples unlisted number. i looked up the number on  reverse phone lookup and it was a cell phone number in south carolina.
these people should be arrested immediately for harrasing so many people and impersiating and somehow getting unlisted names n numbers and record information.

Calls started today (3-so far) but are incoherent; began same day as AT&T calls for small overdue bill; Since both are coming from South Carolina on same day, I suspect AT&T employee using inside info to scam people. Merits call to Orangesburg, SC sheriff, local phone co to set up trap, and AT&T.

This number has called me for the last two days also. I don't know who itis but I'm going to block it tonight.

We get this call at least 5 times a day from 803-810-0572. We never answer since the caller ID says "Out of Area". We know when someone calls us they will have their name on the caller ID. The calls are annoying, and now that I know it is a scam I will never answer it.
