My wife got a call from 803-326-1384 last night and they said they're a collection agency that wants to help her consolidate her student loans.  I asked her if they said who they were but she said they never told her the name of their company.  Sounds like a scam to me.

Sorry about answering my own question.  I just called the number this morning.  The guy this number links to says his name is D. Perez and that he works for WFCorp.com

sorry about answering my own question again.  Just looked up the wfcorp.com on google.  It's that low work ethic Williams & Fudge that everyone is talking about.  I guess their trying their scam out using a new number now.

www.wfcorp.com speaks for itself. No "scam" involved.

It may not be a scam but it sure is a shady business practice called unpublished cell phone numbers and neighbors. And when they won't identify themselves or send written proof via snail mail then they do not deserve their BBB certification. I will be calling the BBB, Ohio Attorney General's office and the South Carolina Attorney General's office about their dubious business practices.

Pretty obvious that with the line of work this company is in that you will find forums like this.  You are probably in default on your student loans and they are trying to make you aware of the situation and help you.  If this is the case you should listen to what they have to say.

***FYI If you want to research a company do it through a non bias company like the BBB ... which shows Williams and Fudge Inc as an A+ rating since 7/19/1990.***

This number calls my cell and work number everyday.  The person on the other ends says his name is Daryl Perez.

I will echo Gruven that the BBB is NOT a "non bias" entity. You pay for the BBB to give their stamp of approval.

Most of the posters are correct--this is a dial for dollars group. While they may not be spammers/scammers they buy old books of past due businesses. Then they will call you incessantly. Even if you tell them you are not the person they are asking fir--they have nothing to lose.

This company called my niece who lives in another state.  I have never used her number for anything.  Someone named April Adair called her looking for me from 803-326-1267.

Greedy educators is what's wrong with america.  The most powerful weapon is unattainable for most here in america. Unattainable unless you buy the propaganda by administrators of education that you will graduate with all you need to be able to pay your student loans.   Reality has a different view.

I got a call from 803 326 1348  Her name was Brittney McMillan. I don't have outstanding student loans, and do not appreciate the call.

Had someone by the name of Marcina Jennings call my daughter's cellphone and stated that they are trying to collect a student debt from her attendance at The Art institute of Atlanta, my daughter wouldn't be graduating if she owe a debt.
