I get pornographic messages from the same company MHU London EC1 M3JB. I have tried texting 'STOP' as shown in the message but nothing changed. I have called the Customer Service number and followed the instruction to 'press 1 to unsubscribe' but this also did not made any difference. Next attempt was to 'press 2 to speak to an operator'. A couple of times the phone went dead. Eventually I got to speak to a real person who took my number and promised the messages would stop. That particular message stopped but it was replaced by one equally bad or even worse. I phoned again and once more I was told the messages would stop, but again it was replaced by one that is really bad. What else can I do?

I found out about this website www.numbercheck.org.uk and when I contacted them they were able to stop messages and get me a full refund.  I was getting messages from 80371, 88222, 85454 and 60083 plus some mobile numbers. I haven't had anything since, which is nice :-)

As above "Currently calls to 0800, 0845 and 0870 numbers from your mobile cost up to 50p per minute. Get them included in your bundled minutes reply with the word YES"

As I'm with giffgaff, 0800 numbers are free so I knew it was shifty straight away. Oddly, it came only an hour or so after another spam text (I deleted that one so can't check who it was from)
