I got phone call just few minutes ago, with same information.... I check the number because was weird for me and found all this comments .. I called that number back and  explain I won't give any money or nothing and I will call police , the guy told me if I don't pay wait 45 minutes and see what is going  to happen to me .!!!
Be careful because this people is trying to get your money !!!

Same as here. He said exactly the same thing. Eeee creepy!

This same guy called and left a message on my voice mail, but he stated that he was from the IRS and that I or my attorney needed to call immediately. He has an Irish accent. Total scam. I hope he gets caught. That's not only identity theft, but it's also impersonation of a government employee.

I got the same thing.  from irs call or have attorney call.  received mail from irs that said they dont call.

I received a call from 804-372-5692.  It is clearly a recording, because it was a message and started in a strange place, not  the whole thing.  Saying that he is IRS, Richard Williams and his hotline will be 804.372.5692.  That if I or my attorney didn't call back right away the legal situation unfolds on me.

My 80 year old mom just got the same call, same message. Is there a way to report them?

Same thing this morning from these 2 numbers; 804-372-5692 & 804-255-1268. Said to call Richard Williams...blah...blah...blah. I had no ides that the IRS outsources and has Indians calling for them...lol. I knew right away it was a scam, but the sad part is others, especially the elderly, sometimes won't get it and do what they say....

Asian sounding man did the same thing to me.  Telling me I had to have my attorney call or else a legal case would unfold around me.  If you call back from different phones you can tie up his line and harass him back.  If he is answering the phone all the time he won't have the time to pull this scam on unsuspecting people.  Although it is a pain to keep calling him back from different phones, it will at least annoy him!

I just got a call from 804-372-5692, the foreigner left the same voice mail, so I called back. He said he was officer David Williams and that I had been committing tax fraud and that the police would be at my door in 30-40 mins to arrest me, and  that I would go to jail for 90 days without bail. After the 90 days I would have the option to pay bail of 50,000. He said he worked for the IRS tax crimes and that he could help me, but when I asked how, he asked me what I wanted him to do. I said no you said you can help me so what can you do for me, he said copy in the background twice like he was speaking to another officer and hung up.

I had the same VM. His name was Officer James Morgan...Don't fall for it!  I wish him luck!

Received a call from someone with an accent. He spoke broken English and did not leave a name just this number. He said "don't disregard this message. If I don't hear from you or your Attorney then this legal situation unfolds on you. Have a nice day.

I tried to call the phone number back and a recording said 804-372-5692, is no longer in use. I guess the IRS forgot to pay their phone bill!!!!!
