I also received a call today telling me I had a virus. My husband answered and told him I would be home later. Hmmmm. I don't think I am going to be very nice.

Ive gotten a call from this number a few times now - I never answer numbers that I don't know, so I was hoping they would leave a message. Well, no message - So I tryed to call it back. It told me the same thing that other people have said, that the number is disconnected or has been recently changed. Im assuming it's the same person harrassing and trying to scam the people in previous posts. Rediculous.

I also received a call from 804-466-9633.  He said his name is Ryan and he wanted me to delete certain computer files that he said had a virus.  I told him that if this was legitimate he would have told me the company he is calling for and I hung up on him.

I just got this same call. Same Pakistani accent (or India) that everyone above is talked about. It didn't take long to figure out this is a scam. I played along with them for a while to see if I could get enough info to track them down. I was passed to 4 different people, all with the same Heavy accent. The 4th person (Female voice said here name Kathy) realized what I was trying to accomplish and ended the phone call.
    So I Google’d the phone number and found this conversation

I just got a phone call from this number too! +1 (804) 466-9633. I always google the numbers when something doesn't look quite right. I'm glad I didn't answer it now. thank you.

Indian man asking for the owner of the business, told him they weren't available and hung up. Phone displayed VA, USA - I am in Australia.

I have received a call from this number everyday for the past week.  I answered it and no one was on the line..I called the number back and it said the number was verizon and disconntected.  I reported it to my phone carrier and had the number blocked.

Got the call tonight at 8:30.  The guy knew my name said he was from Microsoft, gave me his speil then wanted me to answer some questions about my computer.  I told him he was out of his mind.

Got a call from these people - as soon as I answered they hung up. This was weird, so I rang the number back. A recorded message said the number was disconnected. This was weird too, so I googled the number and got a lot of people saying they are scammers. At least I am not being stalked!

I got a call from this number but I do not answer the phone unless I know the caller.  No message left.

I got a call from 804 466 9633.  The person with Indian accent insisted that my computer is infected with virus that he could help me to clean up.  I told him that I will call my tech support people to deal with any virus issues.

didn't answer but they called before and said they were from microsoft.  they call a lot.  I don't even have windows!

Told him I didn't own a computer, he told me everybody owns a computer. Does everybody in India work as a scam artist? You have to wonder how these people are paid. If they are paid by the number of people they can irritate on an eight hour shift, they are well paid. I get to block twelve numbers, and they were number twelve. Why should anybody that is paying for a phone have to put up with this nonsense? Ask an elected official and they have a list as long as your arm why they cannot stop them.

I answered it and told him I was busy sawing off a cows head to use as a soccer ball.
